Sure, Rios is tough, I'll give him that. But people on here speak of him as if he is a unbeatable beast, and frankly, I think he is highly overrated. He plods forward with no defense and leaves himself open to pretty much every punch thrown at him. As soon as he faces someone with any sort of defense or lateral movement, we will see Rios undressed for sure, unless he can improve his footwork and defense. I notice alot of people who like Rios were also Margarito supporters. But while Rios has at least accomplished what he has accomplished without plaster, he is simply not that well schooled of a fighter and has been fighting mostly 2nd and 3rd class comp. And he'll suffer the same beatings Margo has once he really steps up. Just because Bob Arum says he's awesome doesn't make it true. :deal
Agreed. Marquez would KO him. Robert Guererro would KO him. Rios does well fighting tough guys like Murray and Acosta; there's a reason he's been kept well away from any true Boxer punchers.
No he's not... Everyone knows he's an exciting fighter with an all action style! People also know that he will get his ears boxed off one day when he fights a pure boxer! Don't act like your special and you have knowledge that we dont!
Why dont you start another thread... Something along the lines of "The sky is blue"... Captain obvious! :hey
Brandon is a banger... He doesn't play games when he steps in that ring! "It's kill or be killed"! I like that ****... :yep He doesn't dance, run or hug! It's a fight when he gets in the ring. :fire
Arum mentioned him as a possible opponent for Pac, which is criminal. Pac would look like a god against Rios.
Like it or not... Most people enjoy a good scrap.. Boxing wars are what excites the masses! Sure some people enjoy a pure boxer but most love blood and guts! You Mad?
:rofl 71? So would I be right to assume you're in your 40's? Mid-life crisis maybe? :think Going bald? **** not work? Bladder losing power? It's okay, better to be over the hill than buried under it. Cheer up
