i also hate how some talking heads are hypocrits, Dan Rafael will call Povetkin a bum for his regular belt but Gamboa and Rios are legit champs in his eyes despite having a regular belt on their waist

 

I think jmm vs rios would be like pac vs margarito. Garcia really needs to really teach them some foot work, and defense.

I think because Margo and Rios have been in the same camp, Rios gets unfairly pegged some of Margarito's deficiencies. While Rios is a come-forward, all action fighter, his combination punching is much tighter and sharper than Margarito's. Margarito was all volume, but his combination punching was effective because of the variety, power, and quantity of punches. Rios is much more measured in his approach, working behind a decent jab and displays much better technique when he throws. He picks his shots. Also, his defense is grossly underrated. He picks of plenty of punches with his gloves and doesn't not take that much punishment. Rios is still young and will undoubtedly improve and learn. He isn't a finished product which makes his future look very bright.
