Rios, life and death with Alvarado, he was shut out vs Pac, back in the day came in overweight and got a gift vs Abril. Had some solid wins at the lower weights. Fun to watch, great chin, good power, it is unlikely he would go the distance vs Thurman at welter.

I would love to see Brandon Rios vs Randall Bailey

I don't see how Rios could "expose" Thurman without getting into the ring with him.

I think Khan should fight Thurman.

Thurman hasn't yet dealt with someone of Khan's speed and reach.

That's some ******* **** that means nothing. The fight was close(1 judge for RIos/2 for Chaves), with 2 rounds left to be scored. It was still anyone's fight at that point.

I really don't see how Thurman gets exposed by Rios winning by DQ while being down on the cards. Maybe Thurman ruined the Argentine dude who knows. I'm not sold on Thurman either but Rios fight proves nothing in my humble opinion.

Why are people acting like Rios was an angel in there? This was an incredibly dirty fight because of the conduct of both fighters.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

The Rios fight was much closer than the Thurman fight period. Chaves was not up on one scorecard against Thurman he was up on two against Rios.:deal At the time of knockout, Thurman led on all three cards: 87-83, 87-83, 86-84:hi:

Rios was losing the fight until the DQ. Even though it was a foul filled affair, Chaves was landing the telling blows throughout the fight.

It's not "*******" logic because there was no knockout, there was no winner. Rios won because, technically speaking, Chaves disqualified himself.

I agree, they were both roughing each other up.

The intention of the thread is in the wording KIND OF.

Rios was hurting Chaves with his power more than Thurman was. The fight started as a slugfest and quickly turned into Chaves trying to outbox him, or running and holding constantly which is the way most normal people saw it.

He was more scared of Rios than Thurman.
That may mean Thurman and his power is overrated. This is just speculation.

Because Rios was hurting Chaves early far worse than Thurman did, and had Chaves not held the entire fight who knows when Rios would have KO'd him, but that is why Chaves fought the way he fought, he was scared.
KIND OF not flat out expose. Thurman and his power may not be as great as everyone thinks it is.
