he looked noticeably faster and his punches had that snap to them, why cant he fight like that all the time.
He did look really good, but I think a lot of that did have to do with the fact that the man in front of him was a shell of a fighter. I'm not trying to take anything away from Rios though. The guy looked like he was at his best and well prepared. I just think Alvarado at this stage of his career is a bad measuring stick when assessing how good this highly focused and disciplined version of Rios really is. This fight certainly opened a lot of doors for him, so I think time will tell as long as he remains focused and dedicated to boxing the way he appears to be.
You can say that he looked sharper or faster than usual and same can be said in the other direction that his opponent just made him look that good. I won't judge him for this fight, looking forward to his next fight.
