Robert Guerrero and Miguel Angel Garcia can fit the bill for next Chicano superstar as well. Garcia, who's on a tremendous roll, just called out Yuriorkis Gamboa at the post fight conferance.

Im big on Mikey Garcia and i agree that he might be a future star. As for Guerrero hes a solid top guy but dont think hell be a future star, hes a good solid fighter but also beateable. I think Rios would whup him right now.

I'm not ready to dismiss Guerrero right now, I was very impressed with his athleticism and the boxing he displayed against Malcom Klessen. His fight against Casamayor was more of a intense sparring session with and old buddy. Robert just kept pulling of the gas pedal giving the elder Joel the dignity of going all twelve.

A fight between Guerrero and Rios would be a fun one to watch and I wouldn't know who to go for.

I think he does too. I mean hes capable of beating some top contenders right now,but before taking on the Gamboas,Lopez,John,Marquezs he should wait at least another year. Doesnt his family train and manage him?

I just hope he has a better chin than his big Bro. Robert Garcia was a helluva fighter and was the whole package just didnt have the best chin. if he had a better chin he would have went along way. At least he grabbed a world title.

hopefully at least his big bro is turning into one of the best young trainers.35 and already taken two fighters from their first fight to a title very impressive.

YEy he was a well schooled boxer,i see that he has turned that skill into schooling and teaching fighters well. He probably learned some stuff from his dad and combined that with his ring experience. I think hes already better than his dad though.
