I never realised how much Rios disliked Ortiz. Reading the interview in this month's Ring Magazine showed how much contempt Bam Bam holds for him. I know there has been talk of this fight happening for the last couple of months... but brandishing him a liar and a fraud. Strong stuff. You think we will see this one somewhere down the line? Or is this simply a Rios promotional tactic?

Unless GPB and TR are prepared to work together for big fights again, I don't see Rios-Ortiz ever happening.
Since DLH bought The Ring , the magazine has lost it's long time credibility. Now it's just a rag being used as a promotional tool for Golden Boy. The Rios-Ortiz "rivalry" is a fabrication that hopefully (for Golden Boy) results in an eventual showdown between the two. I'll never forget looking at The Rings cover and seeing Mayweather with a headline alluding to Floyd taking "a big chance" fighting Marquez. Thats when I realized that the beloved, unbiased, informative magazine I used to know was just a ***** for Oscars agenda, and was gone forever.
