Everyone seems going overboard with the excitement yesterday. Here's a few points to ponder first: Oscar is a great fighter, but his power isn't as potent as it was at 135 and 130. With the exception of Darryl Tyson, who is nobody's idea of a great fighter, Oscar has never knocked someone cold at 140 (and that's with a body punch). The Chavez stoppage was due to cuts more than anything. I'm just making a point about Oscar being thought as such a puncher. And Rios' chin isn't too shabby either. Skillwise, still it would be too much. Oscar by mid-round stoppage. Rios gets hit too much. You can't afford being a target of Oscar's pinpoint jab and left hook. He has a nasty uppercut as well.
Rios has proven himself very vunerable to the uppercut. Oscar's left uppercut would **** him up over the four rounds the fight lasts.
