Yes he does, but he smiles like a big goon and keeps walking forward face first. Imo, Alvarado hits a lot harder then Garcia, and was much bigger then anyone Rios has ever fought. Yet the only one who was ever hurt or stunned in that fight was Mike.

I'm a huge fan of Danny as well, he isn't exactly the most fundamentally proficient fighter, his fights with Morales and Khan prove that. I see Danny doing what he needs to do to try and get in those exchanges he so favors, that means camping out on the inside and be willing to take to give. Which puts him right in Brandon's killzone, when Rios starts throwing those full power right hands around round 6 we'll start see Danny wilt ever so slightly.

Don't get me wrong if there's anyone I'd like to see withstand Rios' game and come out on top it's Danny Boy. As I am a huge fan of his as well, and there would be no shame in Brandon's first loss happening at the hands of The Ring Junior Welterweight Champion.

Who of note has Alvardo stopped to conclude he hits harder than Garcia? Even if you do want to say he's more heavy-handed, a claim I find highly dubious, Garcia is far more likely to land shots Rios wouldn't see.

I'd love to see that actual fight as well, but they're both trained by Garcia, so it's probably never going to happen. We might have to settle for Matthysse, who is a 14o pounder, and fundamentally speaking is the better fighter between him and Maidana anyway. Lucas and Marcos power I feel is even at 140.

He stopped Prescott, only fighter to do that. Who has Danny stopped to lead you to believe he hits harder then Alvarado?

Mike also seems to throw with a lot more bad intention on all his shots then Danny. I don't know what you find so dubious about it, Alvarado is generally known as a hard puncher. Danny is known as a kid who has good pop, but not overly powerful, basically the boxing public's opinion on Danny is he's a good fighter who isn't great at any one thing, that includes punching power.

The man is a winner though, he realizes exactly what it takes to get the job done, and is capable of doing exactly that. You should poll it though (which fighter hits harder (iyo) Alvarado or Garcia), to see what the esb opinion is, seeing how you think it's so crazy that I believe Alvarado hits harder. You did read my whole post right, you did see that I'm a big fan of Danny's as well? Because if you did, you would realize that I'm not trying to bash Danny here.

You call 2 rounds a whole fight?

He hurt Morales more than anyone in his career save Pacquiao. He took down Khan at this weight, which all chin jokes aside, is still a far more credible victory than Prescott was at the stage Alvarado fought him. Keep in mind too that the Prescott stoppage came at the end of the fight when as usual he was completely spent stamina-wise.

I think he is using his presumption of how the rest of the fight was more then likely gonna play out as what actually happened. Meaning if Garcia hadn't caught Khan with that shot, Khan would have ruled the fight like he did the first 2 rounds. At least that's what it looks like to me.

Barrera hurt Morales to, the guy could be hurt. Khan is not more credible as far as KO's go then Prescott, you cannot consider a stoppage over a world renowned chinny fighter like Khan, who has been stopped on a couple of occasions and hurt on a few others a better gauge of ones power, then a stoppage over a fighter like Prescott who has always showed a good chin and never been stopped before.

Don't get me wrong a win over Khan is a much better win then a win over Prescott. But a KO over Prescott is a more impressive accomplishment then a win over Khan, because of the sturdiness Prescott has shown, and the frailness Khan has shown.

Khan had been stopped once before the Garcia fight (not a couple of occasions) and never at that weight class. Likewise, it was largely one single punch which ended his chances in the fight, not an accumulation landing on a fighter with notorious stamina problems, thus again making it more noteworthy for any evaluation of power.

The time Garcia stopped him made it "a couple of occasions" I figured you know what I meant.
