Kat will be within an inch of joining his brother after Rios is done with him.

Acosta would beat the **** outta Katsidis, and Katsidis vs Antillion would be a 50-50 fight.

It is absolutely AMAZING how overrated Katsidis is on this forum.

    X 2 on everything...

On ESB, it's better to be exciting than good...

And Kat isnt "damaged goods". He wasnt that good to begin with.

Feather fisted Juan Diaz kicked Kat's ass, and swelled his face. What in the hell do you think Rios will do to him?

love this fight, leaning towards rios but i think kats has a decent shot, hes the best fighter rios has faced and rios style is perfect for him, he wont have to take 5 to land 1 it will be even exchanges.

I wonder what the size differential will be, probably pretty even Im guessing

    :deal

Katsidis deserves a fight with Soto or Ali Funeka or something. Someone who might beat him but won't half-kill him.

However this fight would definitely be awesome just seems like too much in too little time for Katsidis.

Rios vs. Matthysse is the action fight to make.

Yes, Rios vs Matthysse! NOW we're talking! Or Rios vs Maidana.

Katsidis would get his **** pushed in by Provodnikov.

    Whaaaat you´re looking at!!!!

Rios is a favorite, but I´ll throw caution to wind. The fight goes like this....
Katsidis is pumped up and ready go, jumps around and shouts at Rios before the opening bell like a rapid bunny. Rios takes the middle of the ring and can´t really catch Katsidis who circles around him and harpoon -attacks from the distance. Rios frustrates and opens his high guard in round 2 when he tries to hurt Katsidis desperately. Katsidis turns on the tornado and a flush of punches takes Rios down. TKO 2 win for the Tasmanian Devil.

You'd have a better chance of seeing Devon Alaxander outbox Floyd than that result.

Kats is a better fight than Diaz simply because at least there is a remotely slim possibility that Kats could land something and knock Rios out, Diaz has no power and would get stopped, and probably quickly.

    They'd have equally no chance.

As much as I hope you're right, I kinda hope this fight doesn't get made, moreover I hope Katsidis retires very soon. Do I think he can still be effective? Yes sure, he's not in a state of total decline by any means but still, he takes some sickening beatings and I can already assure you the neurological effects are gonna add up as he ages in retirement as it is.
