I agree that he'll be a star but his peak years will end at 28 or 29 IMO.

Acosta is a quality operator and is damn good. The version of Acosta that Rios beat would give anyone at 135 hell and probably be the favorite over everyone there as well. In fact I was so impressed with Rios performance in that fight I nominate it for performance of the year.

And he was top 5 when Rios beat him, what's your point? Antillon was basically back end of the top 10 as well when he beat him, right after Soto went life and death with Antillon.

Acosta and Peterson, No one else in my opinion - Antillion wasn't that good, just entertaining.

Acosta was a very good win and a very good fight. He'll face more top notch fighters I'm sure.

Rios is a welterweight fighting at lightweight, He is a very strong pressure fighter with a great chin and a lot of stamina, He eat a lot of punches so for him fighting at smaller weight is good for him. I think they need to rush him a little bit because his career will not last long. As soon he move up in weight He will get outclassed by a big elite fighter.

    acosta
    peterson
    antillon

those three are great wins...many feel antillon beat soto, and peterson was supposed to be the next big ****...and acosta was a tough mutha****er, and rightfully earned his title....

Boxrec has Dawson ahead of Hopkins and if they both retire right now then boxrec would say Dawson achieved more.
Brandod dominated Peterson, had a heck of a scrap with Acosta and then took him out with a fantastic finish. To top it all off he completely destroyed Antillon.

I think its funny how Rios coming out party was actually when Petersons coming out party was supposed to be.
They even had a segment on Peterson which they usually do for future stars and then Rios took his 15 mins of fame and made the night his.

:rofl Your standards for fighters of Mexican heritage are pretty lax.

Those wins are not THE ****, just ****.
