Funny, because I see at least 10 "BAM BAM"s to his head and body and yet he's still standing at the end of the round: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4ewJ-WipKA[/ame] Also, forward to 3:50 here to see them from a side angle: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVfrooDHW8o&feature=related[/ame] I've said it before, I'll say it again, Rios has nothing on Khan, especially after the fight with Maidana.
Khan will outbox Rios for 12 rounds or even KO him, Rios is slow as **** with no head movement ala Plasterito.
I don't know about the thread claim here...after the way Khan hung on to defeat Maidana, I would have to favor Khan.
Not what happened. Acosta used angles - all coil and spring in the corners and off the ropes. Did you ****ing watch the fight?? Fortunately Khan isn't just a piston puncher anymore. He's got more dimensions at this point so this is a double blind for you, buddy.
Rios aint nothing special. Having said that, if he lands on Kahn's fragile GLASS MANDIBLE, he can definitely knock him out.
this is fanboy logic if i ever saw one i bet you thid guy couldn't come up with a credible all time top 20 p4p list to save his life.
I hope you do know that Clotteys inactivity came because he broke his left hand. He was knocking the **** out of Margacheato before that and would have won it easily otherwise. Irrelevant i know just wanted to get that across:yep
he didn't break his hand, he changed his story a few times and later it was found out it was only a bruise.
yes how can we forget maidana and rios are carbon copies of each other. does cotto easily beat margarito because he outboxed mosley the guy who beat margo? oh what am i saying you weren't around when those fights happened you wont have a clue. Edit: just watched that video and damn was i right maidana cant fight on the inside for ****.
So if that is the case do you believe Cortez was actually favouring Maidana by splitting them up in round 10 instead of letting them fight on the inside.
whether or not it favored him cortez HAD to split them as khans back was turned. maidana throws straight punches up close and wide looping punches to the back of the head instead of short compact punches which is what you're supposed to do up close AND he was wild as hell, not picking his shots. seriously what does maidana have to do with rios? why dont we just go ahead and say mosley and floyd fight the same because they're the same size and both black? or barrerra and morales fight the same because they're both mexican?
this was a fantastic shot but why does everyone say "nobody but maidana could get up from that" ANYBODY can be floored/ hurt badly by a well placed body shot, and maidana has been down quite a few times early.
that happened to rios in his 6th or 7th fight, took a huge body shot, got up and was stmbling around, it was at the beginning of the round so he didn't get time to recover, he then got dropped 2 more times in that round with shots to the same place, garcia made him change his gameplan after that and a few rounds later knocked the guy out.
