Yup. First ever winner of a K-1 Grand Prix. Brutal right hand that flatlined a prime Ernesto Hoost twice. Very good fighter but getting on in age when K-1 was entering its heyday. Never watched his earlier full contact fights against the likes of Dennis Alexio and Don Wilson etc.

Yes, RIP, very skilled very dirty fighter. Could punch, remember his weird fights in PRIDE and also weird fight vs. Alexio where he basically didn't want to continue after a foul fest. Had some awesome fights in k1 and mentored the legendary CroCop. There are cool videos of the 2 before Mirko was "CroCop", Filipovic was Tiger! so bizarre to see "Mirko Tigar" with Branko in the old k1 days.
