Whitaker-Trinidad and McCallum-Roy Jones are good shouts.
Didn't Larry Merchant even have McCallum winning the fight against Jones? He must have been drunk, but still the 120-107 scores for Jones were ridiculous.
    Also McCallum-James Toney III.

Toney-Sam Peter I must be mentioned. 38 year old, fat, out of shape James Toney went toe-to-toe with the much bigger Peter, took Peters shots and outboxed him. Toney definitely deserved the win here.

I also scored that fight for Toney. Yeah, it's a really good shout for this thread actually. That Toney was so overweight and so many light years away from his 1991-1994 prime.

Most recent one I can think of is Gatti vs Boldomir. I hated the way Gatti was picked apart by Mayweather, McGirt never told Gatti to start swinging even when it was obvious their orginal gameplan was total ****. When Gatti fought Boldomir, he atleast went down swinging.

Damn how could I forget Gatti, even when he was shot to **** against Gomez he was swinging like a warrior.

    Ali v Frazier III

everyone had Joe pegged as a shot fighter , Ali certainly believed it and for the first 4 rounds it certainly looked like Joe was not there anymore but by rounds 5 and 6 the late great Don Dunphy noticed that Joe was starting to smoke and he lit the ring up - the most vicious and brutal heavyweight fight in history is what followed and its not melodramatic to say now that both men nearly died in there.

More recemtly I'd say Morales v Diaz - a true warrior remembering the greatness of his youth and going out on his shield against a bigger, younger and stronger opponent.
