What are/were some fights between a brawler and a swarmer? I know Foreman-Frazier is one.

Calzaghe is a MASTER BOXER, he can brawl when needed.
But his boxing skills are unmatched.

It's a fine line between the 2 styles. I doubt most guys would know the difference (maybe I'm one!). PAC vs hatton is an example. Tho not a good fight. With PAC being swarmer n hatton the brawler. Margarito vs Williams a good example of swarmer vs swarmer. N rios vs alvarado 2 brawlers. I think the primary difference between the 2 styles is punch output. Like, a brawler might throw less but throw em all hard and a swarmer throws hard shots as well as combinations. But it's really a cloudy seperation. I'd say one is a sub category of the other. All swarmers are brawlers but not all brawlers are swarmers. Maybe I'm wrong tho.

Pac didn't really swarm in that fight. He timed Hatton.

    Right hook, roll under!

What style would you say Kovalev is? Brawler? Boxer-puncher?

Calzahge vs lacy is a horrible example. Joe doesn't qualify as either. Joe was more of a slapper haha

I wouldn't call kovalev a boxer puncher. To flat footed n slow. Not saying anything negative just sayin...boxers need speed in my book. I'd call him a slugger.

He's too accurate to be a slugger. He picks his shots, has decent footwork and timing.

He's a boxer puncher imo. He deffinetly ain't slick though.
