You never lose your cool; you control your emotions.

well, if you are a pro it would please the crowds. Resulting in more fans/interest/bigger paydays potentially... Letting your emotions control what you do is a very poor way to fight from a tactical standpoint.

Brawling is bad idea, unless you know you can take the guys hit and you hit harder than him. But generally brawling and forgetting all the boxing technique is always bad and if the opponent is trying to brawl with you then it's better for you since you can box him if the other guy lost his cool.

And keeping a cool head in boxing is important so you can be patient and keep your timing, if you get mad you'll just get hit more.

It's best to be mad as hell and remain in control. Losing ones cool is a good way to lose the fight since you go hell bent for leather and any good counter shot could separate your mind from consciousness.

Besides the obvious, getting pissed only uses more energy and if your opponent weathers your initial onslaught, you could gas and be in deep do-do.

Like anything in Boxing brawling has its place. I think its OK to brawl once in a whillle just to keep you're senses sharp. I think Brawling contributes to the "self defense" aspect of Boxing. I'm only talking about training though, don't do it during a match because it shows you're opponent that you are frustated by his boxing

Brawlers are the best to fight against if you know how to keep your calm, pick them off, have quick footwork, tight defensive game and conter strongly. let them go for it. Most hardcore brawlers will last less than a minute. I love fighting against brawlers...keep in mind if you dont know how to control your aggression and cant take a punch anything could happen.

I like to box, pick my shots and move. Obviously not comparing myself to Mayweather but I like to try and style myself on him (without the defense)

But to be honest, I do get uncomfortable when people try to brawl with me, unless they're slow and I can just pick them off.

It's ok to brawl, but not because you've lost your cool. It's often best to do it at times when a lesser person would lose their cool (ie after you get hit solid but aren't rocked), because the opponent/crowd may think you've lost your cool. There is value to having your cool when your opponent thinks you don't.
