    He had natural weight over Hatton and if memory serves it was a one round job I think. The guy has huge power he really does have one punch ko power but he can be beat down but you have to keep coming at him.

    The danger therein is that he does pick that one shot very well.

    Its a really good fight, Cleverly to win actually has to fight the dangerous fight and just pour it on as he did against Murat, that will leave him open for that off the ropes shot that Braehmer is good at.

    However equally the guy is powerful enough to pick one from a boxing match over 12 as well so for me Clev has to just break his heart, I think he could do that but not sure the corner will let him go for broke

    WBO light-heavyweight champion Jurgen Braehmer is looking for another big name Brit to add to his hit list. The German has never fought a man from the UK in his 30-plus fight pro career, but that will change when he takes on Nathan Cleverly on May 21 at the O2 Arena, London.

    As an amateur he had notable wins over two English fighters - Carl Froch and Ricky Hatton.

    In fact, Braehmer twice beat Hatton, including a first round stoppage.

    Overall, Braehmer lost just five of his 100 amateur fights, and was a junior world champion.

    "His amateur record says it all really," said Cleverly.

    I don't think any boxer has a maths degree? surely you cant balance being a student and boxer at once...

    Do you reckon we'll get a line from the commentator about Cleverly "graduating with honours" if he beats Braehmer?:roll:

    No doubt the degree will be mentioned regularly throughout the fight, probably comment on how he can now completely focus on boxing etc etc

    He'll have developed the right formula to beat Braehmer, workrate is the winning equation, he's got the right angles for the fight...

    One of the main reasons I bought a ticket for this card is so I don't have to listen to the commentary!!!
