I'll be the happiest person if Cotto wins but I honestly can't see him pulling this off. Foreman is young, strong and has decent skills. This is Cotto's first fight at the weight and his last two fights a division lower were brutal even if he won against Clottey(arguable, I thought Cotto won). People need to see more of Foreman in my opinion, the kid isn't as easy as people think and I believe he will prove it in this fight. I'm picking Foreman by mid-round TKO or decision. I hope Cotto wins and will be extremely happy to know my prediction was totally wrong.
I agree that Cotto has fought MUCH better better boxers than Foreman, skill isn't necessarily the X factor in this fight...the dreaded reach/agility/skill combo meal is. If Foreman is able to somehow add a side order of champion caliber heart, this may actually be competitive...
Clottey isn't a banger either yet he hurt Cotto and had him in serious trouble. Cotto can take a punch but can also be dazed by a single power punch and Foreman stunned Santos numerous times.
Foreman peppers Cotto from the outside never stands still for Cotto to mount an atack. Foreman's punches close the eyes of Cotto. Foreman by tko 11.
I think Yuri can outbox Cotto. Cotto has not been with Steward long enough to have made a big difference yet.
Depends on Cotto If Cotto doesnt go to the body something he has ignored but won him all his big fights he struggles in a tough fight and maybe loses. If Cotto hits the body like he did at 140 and early 147 he breaks down Foreman. However foreman is a wild card never seen much of him he is a tall lefty with speed and accuracy his fights are usually boring and wide ud's now Cotto is never in a dull fight but maybe foreman outfoxes him for the win Latley Cotto has tried being the boxer when in reality he is a puncher and he will be out boxed. Cotto is plagued by quick handed volume punchers now Foreman is not a puncher but he is quick and bigger. Foreman to me is a big mystery but i think Cotto is done. Maybe not done enough to lose to Foreman unless foreman is great and this is his comin out party. Cotto by late TKO or Foreman wide UD
Does Steward have a negative influence take a puncher try to make him a boxer vs a superior boxer and just fights the wrong fight
I wuld love to see Cotto win spectacularly , truth b told I knw Foreman wnt b idle long enuf to feel Cotto's power...bt all in all I'm gonna go with Cotto in a close UD
