can someone help me understand this **** here? When he was younger he had KD power at 140 and at 147 he can put in work to the body, but has no power most of the time. Many say this is from his technique, what exactly is he doing wrong? Any feedback much appreciated

He slaps with open hands. Can't call them punches.

He has good technique but a lot of his punches come from slightly altered angles due to his muscular build. He doesn't have the range of motion a guy like Floyd has who is less bulky.

But that all has nothing to do with punching power......some people have it....others don't. You can improve on punching power by buliding up speed, strength and explosiveness but at the end of the day some people are heavy handed and other are not.

Moving up in weight doesn't help power either.....it's rare a fighter carries his power and speed up effectively.

While I agree with this, I don't agree that there is no answer to the question "Why do some fighters have power, and others not". The answer is not simply "Because they just do".

All those generated power were dissipated on his forehead.

Bradley throws a lot of wide, looping arm punches and he often falls off balance when he's punching. Really, Bradley's balance is terrible. He's always tripping and getting his legs crossed up. It's difficult to punch with power when your base isn't firmly planted. It's like Bradley tries to muscle his shots. His punching technique is bad.

Bradley doesn't always commit to his punches. Just look at his legs when he throws most of his punches. He is clearly trained to throw and score points with his punches, not to seriously hurt or drop his opponent which contributes to his underrated stamina. When he does commit however he can stun opponents like he proved against Pacquiao(in the rematch) and Marquez.

No rotation of his hips aswell, it's all arm punches...

As Scar said, they are scoring shots, felt against PAC last time he was trying to put more power on his shots but it just didn't work and he looked gassed by the champ rounds, he's been successful enough with his current style he should stick with it

    Round holes, square pegs

He rarely sits on his punches, but when backed against the ropes or he's forced to he can muster up some nice hooks.

He probably tried the power method against Pacquiao because he knows he lost the first fight and has no chance if he decides to box.

Don't you think it has alot to do with the opposition he's facing?
There aint gonna be alot of true knockout artists if you're opposition is the elite.

he believes lifting weights will make him more powerful.

he doesn't turn all the way into his punches.

he slaps and throws a lot of arm punches.
