Let's breakdown this overrated dog**** fighter they call Slappy Joe.

Chris Eubank - Was coming off two losses against Steve Collins in 1995. Following those 1995 fights, Eubank faces two bums at cruiserweight...one in 1996 and the other in early '97. By this time Eubank is contemplating retirement, but no Slappy Joe has to drag him away from that and fight the fading Eubank at Super Middleweight. DIS****INGRACEFUL. Eubank then loses two fights against a bum Carl Thompson at Cruiserweight. Yes i said it A BUM! All Carl Thompson did was beat very green 10-0 David Haye....:verysad

Robin Reid - OK win, nothing special but those Calzaghe nuthugging Eurobums like to think this was some sort of fantastic win. Calzaghe almost lost this fight as well...

Richie Woodhall - On the same level as the Reid win, wow Calzaghe has a **** resume.

Omar Sheika - Omar Sheika is the greatest of all time, need i say more. Calzaghe's resume is ****in atrocious so far.

Mario Veit - Again those Calzaghe nuthuggers make out like Slappy's two wins over this ****** is some sort of big deal....:rofl

Charles Brewer - OK win, but Brewer before the Calzaghe fight was already KO'ed three times and had 8 losses. One time by Antwun Echols in 2001 but Calzaghe decides to defend his belt against brewer in 2002 anyways....what a ****in disgrace.

Byron Mitchell - Not bad win, finally a "not bad" win on Slappy's **** resume.

Kabary Salem - LMAOOOO Calzaghe was knocked down by this ****in bum....:patsch

    Mikkel Kessler - Good win.

Sakio Bika - Who the **** has Bika even beat?

Jeff Lacy - The second coming of Mike Tyson with phenomenal wins over Syd Vanderpool, Scott Pemberton, Robin Reid and a faded Omar Sheika.... holy **** the Super Middleweight division back then sucked ****.

Bernard Hopkins - Good win, but Hopkins was ****in 43 years old. :rofl Slappy Joe's fans would make you believe Hopkins was prime in this fight...AT 43 GOD DAMN YEARS OLD!!!!!

Roy Jones - Two months shy of 40 years old and shot to ****in ****.

Calzaghe HAS A ****IN DOG**** RESUME, compare his resume to greats like Roy Jones Jr. and see for yourself why Calzaghe sucks ****...:yep:deal

Not even close to as thorough as i could be, but I couldn't be bothered because 90% of this forum already knows how disgraceful Calzaghe's resume already is.

No one needs to be a boxing expert to know Calzaghe's resume is a joke. If he wanted to dominate his division he would have attempted to unify, even the title he picked up was a paper vacant WBO title and against a shot Eubank coming off losses and two exhibition fights. His start pretty much exposed what he's all about and his last fight confirmed it. The unification came in his last few fights against new comers.

There are three wins to brag about if you're a fan of his, Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins.

I think people either underrate or overrate calzaghe, since I have nothing against the guy nor am I a fan of him i can judge him fairly.
I think his skills are excellent and he is h2h one of 168's best in history, he has a relatively weak resume though, I would consider him a very good hof boxer that might be a atg thats up for debate, but h2h he gives anyone hell at 168, thats what I believe.

Calzaghe was a decent fighter. Its not his fault that there wasn't much competition for him during his reign. I was one of the suckers who thought Lacy would beat his ass.

    Best undefeated fighters, all time:
    1. Mayweather
    2. Marciano
    3. R. Lopez
    4. Calzaghe

Calzaghe has nothing to be ashamed of. You "boxing fans" should be ashamed of yourselves. Come on, I hate Calzaghe, I hate Pacquiao, but I never let it interfere when breaking down their legacy. You have got to be serious with yourself when talking about their achievement and all time ranking.

Calzaghe is a case of wasted talent.

It's funny. I think Hopkins was his best win. Calzaghe is superior to Taylor, Yet Taylor beat a better version and at Hopkins best weight and was man enough to give him a rematch after the contravercy. He should have risk it and took the rematch with b hop and also fought pavlik at the time he was undefeated. He would have beat pavlik easy.

Funny, I seem to remember you talking him up and showing him a lot of respect back when he spanked Lacy.

You're pathetic, you revisionist dung beetle :yep

Calzaghe was going to fight Hopkins, but Hopkins ducked him by demanding double his fee a day after agreeing to fight him.

Calzaghe was going to fight Taylor, but Taylor looked **** against Spinks.

Calzaghe was going to fight Pavlik, but Pavlik looked **** against Hopkins.
