I didn't know that, that's pretty amazing stuff. I familiar with him from this forum but that's it. He's done a great job with the numbers....I just wish I had his same resources.. :blurp

lmao...Only from the keyboards of Farmboy, Bremen, Elrod and 'the others' comes such accusations. Any truth that could possibly tarnish the Klits will not be tolerated...This is all part of a vast worldwide conspiracy, that includes Ring Magazine, all which are out to tarnish the Klits legacy.

Funnier thing is I've repeadly said this era would have been far worse without and will be total **** when Wlads gone unless the top fighters start fighting all each other more often.

    -Marciano 11-0:
    LaStarza I #10, Layne #6, Mathews(LHW #1), Louis#1, Walcott x2(Champion #1), LaStarza II #1, Charles x2 (#1), Kockell (#2), Moore (#1).

-Louis, I never did a full inspection of but the vast majority of the ones Obviousalt listed were rated top 10 when Louis fought them. I know Aragmonte and Sharkey were not rated by RING at the time but most were.

Louis record against rated fighters is a juggernaut of an abnormality at HW, nobody fought and beat more, he is the king. Rocky an abnormality in his own right, may have faced the largest % of #1 rated fighters, 8 of his 11.

-I got the Maricano from various sources citing the monthly rankings, too many to link. It was tedious work. There is debate regarding LaStarza II. He was #2 when Rocky signed to fight him but claimed the #1 spot before the time of the fight as Charles was upset by Valdez.

-I don't know what you are getting at with the last bit. I'm not being unfair to any era. Just comparing three standout fighters from 70s and 00s as a starting point. You aren't making since there.

I respect any work you put in, its better than the hollow claims of most. Call me a skeptic, but I like to see where all work is from. I know my work is fair to every fighter and I can prove it. I'm only asking you to do the same.

-The work on Marciano is buried in this thread. I have links and monthly rankings scattered aobut.

Acutally you didn't even use the annual rankings consistently, you were not fair. You changed your method depending on the fighter and even made up two rankings. Numbers don't lie but you do. I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but this looks bad.

You're telling me I posted wrong numbers, but you haven't said for what fighters. How is anyone supposed to check that? And to put Povetkins actual ranking would be unfair unless you can give the actual rankings of every fighter at the time of said fight.

Missed Schulz and Botha. That adds up to 21-2 for Wlad, 22-2 if Mormeck's cruiserweight ranking is taken into account. :good

No, I broke it down completely.

You changed your approach on Peter, using the Year Before rankings for him and him alone because it lowers his number. Not fair.

You manufactured rankings for Sultan and Chambers. Certainly not fair. :-(

Well you aren't exactly about fairness given you changed your approach for one fighter and made up numbers for two others.

You excluded Gomez, Adamek, Peter, Solis, Kevin Johnson, Danny Williams, Hide who all where ring ranked at the time they fought Vitali. Several posters on this forum discredited your numbers already.

i'm starting to think it doesn't stink. the klitschkos, unfortunately, are great fighters, but they're more or less on their way out, which is a good thing for two reasons, one being they're boring, and the second being that the fallout will result in all the other guys fighting it out instead of waiting to cash out on title shots.. on the other hand, look at how many heavyweights are out there at the moment.

tyson and hughie fury, arreola, jennings, chisora, szpilka, takam, perez, mansour, wilder, stiverne, ruiz, browne, glazkov, charr, brezeale etc. these dudes are beginning to fight one another, and I havent even mentioned everyone. the next few years should be very interesting at heavyweight.

Go check the rankings for 2005 again. Sam Peter was number 9 just as I said. Seems you're the one caught lying.....and you still haven't produced any links to you work.

With Ibragimov I used his year before rating since the fight was so early in the year. Wouldn't be fair not to count him at all because he retired. Nice try again.

You missed Danny Williams who was in top 10 after beating Tyson and Herbie Hide who was WBO champ.
