    Do you stand by this claim:

    Using the numbers he's fought less top 10 contenders than the champs of most other era's and this supports my contention

    Wlad top 10 opponents (Year Before) from 2006-2014

    Brock #7 2005
    Brewster #7 2006
    Ibgraminov #6 2007
    Thompson #9 2007
    Chageav #3 2008
    Chambers #3 2009
    Haye #2 2010
    Povetkin #2 2012

    total=8

    Do you feel these men made more title defenses against top 10 opponents in the timeframes you agreed to be eras? That is what your statment claimed.

    Lewis 2000-2003
    Holyfield 90-99
    Tyson 86-90
    Holmes 79-85
    Patterson 56-62
    Marciano 52-55
    Dempsey 24-26

    Exactly....proving your method is no better than mine!

    Using Dempsey's era is unfair because its incomplete using The Rings rankings. I alsol feel Lewis' era was longer 1 year and Holyfield shorter. But using YOUR method (which is a pain in the ass this is what I've come up with so far.

    Marciano
    - Fought 9 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Louis, Layne, Walcott 2x, Chatles 2x, C0ckell and Moore. Thats 8 top 10 fights in 4 years.

    Patterson - Fought 10 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Jachson 2x, Moore, Harris, London, Johansson 3x, Liston 2x. Thats 10 rop 10 contenders in 7 years.

    Holmes - Fought 11 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Norton, Weaver, Shavers, Zanon, Jones, Ledoux, L. Spinks, Berbick, Cooney, Cobb and Witherspoon. Thats 11 top 10 contenders in 7 years.

    Tyson - Fought 8 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Tucker, Biggs, Williams and Ruddock 2x. (This is LEAVING OUT lineal champ Spinks) Thats 8 top 10 contenders in 5 years.

    Wlad - Fought 8 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Byrd, McCline, Brewster, Peter, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Chambers and Povetkin. Thats 8 top 10 contenders in 13 years (and that is NOT counting the year he fell out of the year end rankings)

    Holyfield - Fought 11 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Doles Douglas, Foreman, Bowe 3x, Moorer 2x, Tyson 2x. Thats 11 top 10 contenders in 9 years.

    Lewis - Fought 9 top 10 contenders in the specified era limit. Briggs, Holyfield 2x, Grant, Tua, Rahman 2x, Tyson and Vits Klitschko. Thats 9 top 10 contenders in 5 years.

    This is using YOUR METHOD of year before rankings. Now you do the math and show me not only the average top 10 fights per year per fighter, but exactly how much further off on average this was from my method. I don't think you're going to like the results.

    :nut Congratulations on ignoring the guideline that I laid out and you seriously want to wager with money? You couldn't even follow the timeframes we agreed on for some reason, you are hopeless.

    Lewis title defenses against top 10 opponents from 00-03
    #3 Grant (99)
    #5 Tua (99)
    #9 Rahman (00) L
    #2 Tyson (01)
    #7 Vitali (02)
    total=5

    Marciano title defenses against top 10 opponents from 52-55:
    #1 Walcott (52)
    #7 LaStarza (52)
    #2 Charles (53)
    #2 Charles (53)
    #2 ****ell (54)
    (LHW Champ) Moore (54)
    total=6

    Patterson title defenses against top 10 opponents from 56-62:
    #1 Jackson (56)
    #4 Harris (57)
    #8 London (58)
    #1 Ingo (58) L
    #2 Ingo (60)
    #1 Liston (61) L
    total: 6

    More to come....

    Using the numbers he's fought less top 10 contenders than the champs of most other era's and this supports my contention.

    But this has already been shown to be false.

    No I followed your **** ant guidelines I don't agree with your dates for the Holy and Lewis era. Either way you got owned and are now trying to backpeddle!. Good job missing Jackson and Ingo another time for Patterson and the second Liston fight though. I can already see you're full of **** after getting owned. You also missed Louis, Layne and the other Walcott fight for Marciano. All these fall under your year before method and now you want to change that. Any way you slice it the average numbers are going to come out as I've said.

    Tyson title defenses against top 10 opponents from 86-90

    #2 Smith (86)
    #3 Thomas (86)
    #9 Biggs (86)
    #8 Tucker (86)
    Lineal Champ Spinks (87)
    #2 Williams (89 )
    #7 Douglas (89 ) L
    total: 7

    Holyfield title defenses against top 10 opponents from 90-99
    #10 Foreman (90)
    #3 Bowe (91) L
    #4 Moorer (93) L
    #3 Tyson (96)
    #4 Moorer (96)
    #2 Lewis (99 )D
    #2 Lewis (99 )L
    total: 7

    I would continue with Holmes but what is the point? Your statement is wrong. As Champion, Wlad has fought more top 10 opponents then Lewis, Holyfield, Marciano, Patterson, and Tyson in the timeframes we agreed upon when they were the top man of their era.

    -No, you did agree with those dates.

    -Jackson I, Ingo II, Liston II were not title defenses.

    -Louis and Layne occurred in 1951, nor where they title defenses. In this method the 51 rankings would cover the 52 fights.

    _THIS WAS THE QUESTION:

    you feel these men made more title defenses against top 10 opponents in the timeframes you agreed to be eras?

    You did not follow this and now behaving like a child when called out upon it.

    Where's Berbick for Tyson? It falls under YOUR guidelines...year before rankings! Now you're just lying and making thing up...its there for everyone to see. You're rearraging things to suit your agenda. And what is the average fights per year against contenders for each fighter? I notice you ignored this question from my first response to this BS.

    Berbick was not a title defense. It was the transition to Tyson's reign.

    I did not include Byrd with Wlad either because it was not a title defense.

    You are the one who used the language "Champs", and so I specified title defenses with this challenge. You didn't follow that.

    -Ok...

    Your question answered?

    Wlad=8 in 7 years=1.14
    Lewis=5 in 3 years=1.66
    Holyfield=7 in 10 years=.7
    Tyson=7 in 4 years=1.75
    Patterson=6 in 6 years=1.0
    Marciano=6 in 3 years=2.0

    I like these results. No discrepancy in era, longer the reign, the less frequent is the real interesting trend here.

    Frankly JAB you should kill yourself.

    I'm frankly ticked off that you "agreed" to the eras, than turned around and backtracked and said you didn't agree with two of them all in the same page.

    This shows a lack of character, and makes one question why they should waste their time with you. I am at that point. Time to let this one die.

    Really? Heres your original time frames before I even offered a bet.

    "I think you need to determine what defines eras before you start to contrast them."

    I see it like this:

    Wlad Era 09-present
    Vacant 05-09 (Byrd, Wlad)
    Vitali Era 03-04
    Lewis Era 99-03.
    Holyfield Era 96-99
    Vacant 94-96 (Moorer, Foreman, Bowe, Tyson)
    Holyfield Era 91-94
    Tyson Era 87-91
    Vacant 85-87 (Spinks, Tyson)

    Now, because I offered to let you define them you've changed up to suit your agenda. End of story, you're now just a hack. Your guidelines were followed, you just don't like the result. :lol:
