-Well Vitali did fight and lose to Lewis.

-Now I believe Wlad and Vitali have beat fighters as good as the best Tyson beat.

-In terms of best wins, Lewis and Holyfield are going to hold an edge with their top two wins: Vitali, Holyfield and Tyson, Bowe respectfully. After that though, I think they are on the level. Just looking at top level wins can be fool's good however, take a guy like Maxim who has wins over Patterson, Bivins, Walcott...should he be ranked as high or higher than Holyfield and Lewis? Not really, not even close.

 

Exactly and 80s, 90s, 00s have sadly followed the same pattern

All his posts are gone from the past two pages. Did he realize how stupid and hypocritical he was made to look and delete them? Sucks, because when I quoted him I cut out lots of amateur trash talking and hilarious nonsensible rantings to focus on the "key points." He also kept bragging about how he was trying to reach 1000 posts in this thread, this is a big set back.

He clearly had some sort of meltdown.


The only thing missing is the emphasis CAPS and bold. And it was odd how he randomly ran to Lady Nay's defense in another thread, and tried to "own me" with his wagers he couldn't figure out or commit to. It was also obvious that every time I left, he deliberately kept trying to bait me back by slandering me continously, than claiming victory because I came back to correct him. Just sad.

Alot of it was also him clearly asking the same questions over and over to which I had no choice but to give the same answers, even they probably got sick of it. What is that say about mental illness? "doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result"

I do enjoy how his "numbers don't lie, crystal clear method" ended up being completely disregarded once it didn't produce the results he wanted. He kept wanting to change the criteria to something completely different.

Also, him digging up my old posts out of context as if they were some sort of trump card, all backfiring horribly.

As for the question at hand, I'm not surprised the 80s, 90s, 00s, are producing the same patterns of match ups. Rather that's good or bad or stinks is up to the individual to decide

 

I guess we'll also never know what Chris Byrd's top 3 wins are...

This era needs more drug addicts and winos, then it will be a worthwhile era and will be looked back upon fondly.

 

That was weird, claiming to answer stuff that he never did.

He checked the numbers! Twice! Yet many many mistakes were made, some that couldn't possibly be mistakes they were so far off. Then when called out, he still left the mistakes and tried to continue to use them as arguing points.

Good point. Lady Nay would be on here posting "1 + 1=2" or whatever.

Being that gate keepers fight the most contenders and all that. Bert Cooper has to be the GOAT, nobody fought more great HWs than him. He didn't win any of them, but "just fighting" them is what counts.

 

Taylor and Pavlik's MW reigns are already being fondly remembered as a Golden Age...I'll give 2017 when we'll start seeing posts like "Fighter X woudl not survive the stacked Wlad Years."

 

As far as I'm concerned 1995-2014 is the Danny Williams ERA. 20 years of Brixton Bombs.

 

Big Foot owned the 80s, he was on Tuesday Night Fights more times than Wlad will ever be.

 

Hell, he beat Oleg. Whitaker>Rahman>Lewis

But it doesn't matter, Holyfield fought lots of contenders from 1988-2003, so it was an outstanding era.
