Nothing but respect for AJ for taking the Dec 3 date. They think he's mentally done, tried to to do him short and dirty on recovery and training camp but he still wants this. Can't wait for it, Fury is touchable with straight right hands and if AJ seriously drops and hurts him, he's much better and precise with finishing combos than Wilder. WOW we get this, then Usyk vs the winner next after that, great.

He just had a sparring match with a feather duster who he couldn't get on top of.

He needs 8 weeks for a camp at best. 3/4 weeks to recover is plenty. He wanted to fight in November/December, trains all year. Is knocking over a stiff instead going to do him any good? No.

Get his Fury defeat over and done with.

    He definitely ducked Wilder.
Wilder was a stylistic disaster for Joshua.

AJ was a mess after the fight, outbursts, crying etc. It's the mental recovery where more time helps. December 17th should've been the date as AJ already said he'd fight in December. He also agreed to all the other fight demands, less money, rematch, etc and the least decent thing for Fury to do was to give him a couple extra weeks that way AJ could use most of September for recovery. It is what it is though, and Dec 3 is not the worst thing that could have happened. Say hello to your wife for me.

Mega fight for the UK even with AJ losing. Props to both men for getting the fight made.

Fury was dropped by a cruiserweight Cunningham. If AJ lands big, Fury goes down. I'm still thinking Fury wins on points but it's a 60-40 in my eyes.

That was a point I was eluding to. The fact it isn't about picking the weaker link or the payday.
Usyk just goes from town to town sparking out the 'Daddy' in his back yard...it's about being the best and taking those challenges without 'picking' or card stacking. It's why with his personality and skills Usyk is my favourite in the division. Anyone hating is either biased or doesn't really understand the sport. Usyk is a complete package the others in the division lack one of his elements or more.

If AJ hurts Fury then he is in deep trouble

Hurting Fury is the worst thing you can do in a fight.

    It's like prodding a bear...or the hulk.

I wonder how long are some people going to bring this crappy argument - first of all, every fighter of weight falling into the cruiserweight can cause you a trouble with a punch. It's not because one weights 120 kilos that he has a harder head than someone lighter, the head isn't something you can harden like your legs for taking low kicks. Second, Cunnigham was weighting 95 in that fight which is very decent - most of his fights Muhammad Ali was few kilos below 100 (so close to Cunningham) or just like around 100-101-102. Third, we've already seen Fury surviving one of the hardest punches ever, few of them even in his third fight with Wilder. Survived one in not really great condition in their first fight. So how exactly his knockdown from Cunnigham counts as anything valid? Not to mention that a taller man falls easier than a shorter one for reasons that are going to be off-topic if I go with them, but Fury is 206 cm tall. So even being a power puncher, this isn't really a big advantage for AJ as he lacks any skill that can allow him to deliver such a devastating punch to Fury. Maybe he'll perform good, maybe will land some dangerous shots, let see, as if I refer to his fights against Usyk, he's incapable of any resistance to a classier fighter and Fury is such.

Don't overexaggerate with the knockdowns, Vitali Klitschko has never been knocked down, but has two losses, right?

AJ has now removed all obstacles for this fight not to happen. Now let’s wait and see.

This is a difficult fight on paper for Fury. If he tries to bully box AJ like he did in Wilder 3 he could get ktfo. AJ’s biggest strength is his ability to let go quick, powerful and accurate combinations at mid-range. Fury doesn’t like dealing with that which is why he’s either infighting at close range or pot shoting from distance. If AJ can force Fury into exchanges he can win.

He'll do to AJ what he should have done to Wlad.

Put it on him and made him wet himself. Gas out. Fall over.
