Well, I don't think so, but IF he did it would very much benefit Fury. He gets 50-50 in what would be anothe financial wind fall, and Usyk gets older whilst all this is going on.
If he did, and it is a massive IF, he would be doing it for his own benefit, not matchroom.

At the end of the day, Fury does what is best for him and his family. But as someone following the journey since before he was cool (let's be honest many saw him as somewhat of a joke in the early days), his antics (or those of his promotional outfits), the last year or so, have really made it hard to keep siding with him and be all that invested. It was like when he beat Whyte, it all just felt very flat. And Whyte is a good scalp.

For me the problem is Fury's new fans causing so much chaos and annoyance across the internet, with their blatant hypocrisy and bias. They are now rivalling glovegaters. It takes a lot of the pleasure away from Fury's victories and the build up.

This is a great fight, be we already have them crapping on Joshua's resume and explaining how he ducked Wilder...
(I need an emoji for shooting myself in the head)

As for November/December I couldn't fathom the push back from Fury's side and fanatical army. I will always criticise modern boxers for not fighting enough, but not to the disadvantage of an opponent in what is a fight many have been waiting years for. They should have just said December 17th and put a line under it.

I just hope this will be a great fight, and fair play to Joshua taking the 60-40 (something Fury refused in the past) and the one-way rematch clause (something that is only a bad thing when re-matchroom does it).

I can't help but feel this December 3rd date will always leave unnecessary question marks around the whole episode if Fury wins, and conspiracy theories will start over the rematch clause if Fury loses.

Anyway, this is getting long. It's a great fight, one that adds a real marquee name to Fury's resume, but let's be honest IF Undisputed never happens (or just doesn't with Usyk near his prime)...that's not just a black mark for Fury, but detrimental to the whole division, and by extension boxing itself.

So his career consists of 39 3/4 year old Wlad, bum ass Wilder, shot cw cunningham, and maybe Joshua coming off back to back losses. Still doesn't scream risk taker, does it?

Up until Fury, Wilder KO'd all but 1 opponent. Finishing guys is the one thing Wilder knows how to do. Fury just has great recovery.

Credit where credit is due to Wilder. Still, I look forward to seeing him in with Ruiz Jr.
If Wilder flattens Ruiz, who has one of the great chins of the division, it will put such questions to bed.

If he fights Usyk after Joshua who else was he supposed to fight? Joyce is the only real contender and he brings so little commercially.

Wlad was the #1 ranked HW on the planet. Fury embarrassed him in his backyard. Wilder was at worst (before Usyk moved up) the #3 HW in the division. Fury beat the brakes off him in his backyard. If he fights & beats Joshua thats ALL his domestic rivals sent packing.. Whyte, Chisora, Joshua.. All top 10 HWs at the time he fought them, Joshua is STILL top 4 in fact. What other HW has got a resume close to that? NONE! Usyk is OUT til next year .. Fury wants to stay busy, I can't think of a better tick over fight than Joshua.. yet you're still hating.. Lame ass pathetic loser .. Who the fk are you?

Fury and Wlad embarrassed themselves with perhaps the worst pro fight ever. Whyte had just been knocked out cold by a 41 year old. Fury has Charr lined up, don't be surprised if this fight falls through and it still turns out to be Charr. Funny you Fury fans tout Chisora as a great opponent, except when Vitali fought him. Then you guys said he was a bum.

Happy for this fight, AJ smart cashing out as much as possible before his stock drops too much and another loss against a 'mediocre' name would mean the end of big money fights

But he did finish all but 1. So for someone to say that he can't finish his opponent off makes no sense. Now, if he had a 20% KO record against the same opposition, then I would agree. Not, to mention, he dropped Fury 4 times. The guy is dangerous.
