Wow. Calzaghe would be a great fight and payday for him. Green means **** all, he is not even a title holder.

 

Williams IS a smaller man. He can't even bulk himself up to be a full-sized middleweight so what makes you think he can match size with Green?

Horse**** man. You KNOW I like Green...but just because he mentioned the name of a fighter 2 classes below him doesnt mean that fighter is ducking him. What it means is HE IS A FIGHTER WHO IS FIGHTING 2-3 CLASSES BELOW HIM!!! There is no way to sugar coat it.

Diego Corrales was 5'10, so is Arthur Abraham...does this make them the same size? If Chico bulked up to MW, does it make him a MW??? Like I said, come on man...

But, with Green's propensity to show up one night and look like one of the best in the division...then another and look decent at best...I would put my money on Williams. This doesnt mean I dont like Green...

 

Well Williams said he wanted Calzaghe at 168 more than any other fight. So if he's willing to go to 168 to fight JC - which isn't happening - it shows he's willing to take fights in that weight class. I won't lose any respect if he doesn't take the fight, if he does huge props.

I think people are misunderstanding what people have a problem with here. It wasnt that Green called Williams out (tho some may)...it was with Finito saying that if Williams didnt take the fight, he was ducking Green.

Williams could make 168, probably quite well (which is another reason Id favor him here)...but him deciding not to take such a huge risk just to fight a good fighter who doesnt even have a belt isnt ducking...its smart and doing so would be a waste.

Thats all.

 

Allen green will win, because he will have his shoes with him to give him the best advice even when the rounds are taking place.
