I was surprised that you mentioned New York as a possible option, Peters/Dunne were talking about the dream is a Vegas show.

Believe it or not there is a core market there. It's just like the snooker- it only needs half a percent of the population to like it and then you've got a fanbase totalling millions. Half a percent sounds like nothing but when you consider that that is, in actual fact, from a country whose population is nearly 2 billion people, then it shows that boxing can be popular over there. From memory, the PBF-Hatton promotion sold something like 10 million chinese buys.

I wouldn't mind going to this fight be it Dublin or New York it would be great to see it in New York. Peters would still get fans going over to New York from here for the fight and could make a little bit more out of it. If he done a package deal with tickets , flights hotel and charged people €600 for it. It would get the numbers. I think it depends on RTE if they have the money to show this card or not. No matter were it is I will be there.

trust me mate he'd do well to shift 3,000 tickets there

the americans havent seen sight nor sound of him in a few years

Cotto couldnt sell out the garden in febuary (i know it was against jennings but still)

if they want to sell the garden they will have to do alot of hard work to do it and peters just isint the sort of promoter

Duddy didnt become a ticket seller over night.....

people forget that it was the macloughlins that were out hussling tickets in the bars around queens that turned him into the star that he is today

Peters always said Vegas. the reason he said that is casino money they give the tickets away if a fight isint selling so they dont care!

new york is a differet ball game you gotta work hard to fill the garden

Good points Paddy, I can hold out on a US Dunne fight, maybe after a couple of successful defences, fingers crossed.

Theres a good chance of him fighting in america

However it would have to happen in a casino which rules out the NYC
