    Bute et Carl Froch pourraient se battre en avril au Québec, a réaffirmé vendredi le promoteur du boxeur Québécois d'origine roumaine.

    «Un combat contre Carl Froch est ce que nos fans et nos commanditaires demandent, a expliqué le président du groupe InterBox, Jean Bédard, en conférence téléphonique. Nous travaillons fort pour y arriver.»

    Les détails seraient réglés avec le clan de l'Anglais Carl Froch, mais le réseau américain Showtime, qui détient des droits sur le prochain combat de Lucian Bute, n'est pas intéressé par le duel Bute-Froch.

    «Le 14 avril au Québec, nous irons de l'avant avec ou sans le soutien d'un réseau américain», a dit Jean Bédard.

    Jeez. People ***** that Bute isn't facing the top guys, then he signs to face a top guy and people ***** anyway. It's not like Ward or Kessler is available, and while I personally thought Dirrell beat Froch, Froch officially did beat Dirrell in a fight that seems to divide people 50/50.

    Decent:think Watching Ward potshot froch and run at angles away from him for 36 minutes was decent. Watching Bute, turn and blast him for 5 rounds is gonna be monumental.:deal

    FOTY cantidate....and likely the fight that will put Bute top 5 p4p after he KOs the Welshman.:thumbsup

    This is a great fight.

    I just hope is not in Canada because that would be bad. Boxing does not need another Ottke.

    And I think Bute can win in Nottingham which would carry so much more glory.

    A double-fight deal would b best.
