Or if Clottey always baloons 15 pounds at fight night he can fight at 154 opponents instead?

Of do what PBF does, get a 135 lb like Valero and make them go up to 144 but PAc will come in at 146.

Its always been like that. Thats why people who think Pac is taking steroids because his team have been contradicting themselves just haven't been following the sport closely. Pac's team does this very often in the lead up to a fight.

    its business as usual.

Because apparently you are new to boxing and ignore the 100+ years of history with catchweights.

Roach was live on the radio last night and was directly asked if the fight would be at a catch-weight to which he responded no it will be at 147.

Well, I'm not a Pac fan, nor am I defending him. I'm stating from a boxing perspective, that the fight is there for Clottey if he wants it at 144. If not, fine, he can fight someone else.

How is it any worse asking Clottey to cut a couple pounds than it is for Mayweather to ask Marquez, Malinaggi, Hatton, or Bradley to come up to A DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASS? At least Clottey stays in his division!

    Google this:

Like Cotto, who was contracted to come in at a catch weight of 145 pounds, Clottey will be required to weigh-in at no more than 144 pounds -- "that's what the catchweight is for this fight," said Koncz.

What, do you suddenly understand Tagalog? The video's down now, but what I heard was (gibberish) Miguel Cotto (gibberish) 144 pounds (gibberish) 145 pound catchweight. The weights and such they said in English.

It's not as if the original poster, who claimed the video was proof that there's a 144 pound catchweight, speaks Tagalog either. If anyone deserves a facepalm, it's the OP.

Are you ****ing ******ed??? He was willing to fight DLH at 147, Mosley at 142, then MOsley says **** you I'll fight you at 140, then Pac goes :scaredas:, and says no fight, then Cotto at 145, then Mayweather at 147, then Clottey at 144???!!!!

Do you see a pattern doofus???? He obviously does it to weaken his opponents. :-(
