I have rooted against Pac in his last 3 fights. Honestly, I'm tired of the guy.

Truth is, I'm a boxing fan who wants to see meaningful, competitive fights between sportsmen with some class and dignity who attract positive attention to the sport I love.

Pac does all of that, even if I'm not a big fan, I respect it.

Khan does it, to a lesser degree, and I respect that also.

Floyd doesn't do it.

Floyd Mayweather is to boxing what UFC/NASCAR are to sports. They appeal to the lowest common denominator of fans. By that, I mean trashy, GED aspiring, criminal record having, ignoramuses who can identify with public housing and trailer parks.

Floyd and Manny has to fight now for the sake of boxing, the fans and their legacies. Then Manny needs to retire, a fight against JMM4 can be bonus afterwards but it doesn't need to be now.

Other than that, I see irrelevent fights from either fighters.

 

Mayweather's already fighting in February. Not enough time to make the fight.

if manny lays off we get the 3rd fight i.e a clear win for marquez
