PBC fanboys claiming it did 500k per imaginary sources, and Glasier claiming 149k...okay that makes me quite confident it did around 250k which sounds about seems realistic.

 

Never said they were crap. Kostya Tyzu was a great fighter and excellent world champion.

 

The real issue here is not how many buys this ppv had exactly but that the matchup seemed like a gross mismatch before the fight and still it generated so many buys...

Then you have great fights between eastern europeans, japanese and mexican fighters that are highly skilled with a great resume and exciting style that are 50-50 and all british and american fans lose interest apparently because it is impossible to identify with the fighters and because probably nobody slapped the other at the weigh-in and insulted each other...

And the other problem - that apparently most of the money and ppvs come from those two countries...

I might bother to look for it later, but someone last year posted a long ass list of Democrats getting caught for pedo activities, most of it being recent. It´s clearly and issue on both sides, but ones perception might wary based on news sources.

Not surprised, it wasn't a compelling match up. Given how competitive it was Maybe the rematch would do better. I'm more likely to buy the rematch than I was to buy the first flight.
