He was suspended for the Ostarine test.

There's no excuse for that imho.

The meldonium trace is another matter entirely. THAT is what Wilder ran for the hills for.

The meldonium I give that one a gray area and I believe he was later cleared on that one. However he failed ostarine and should be labeled a cheat because of it... However didn't Stivern fail a steroid test for the same fight yet was given a pass?

The ostarine was concluded to be inadvertent usage after the investigation and he was fined for negligence and the suspension was lifted. Otherwise, he wouldn't have had another fight guys.

Because Nevada introduced zero tolerance PED rules in 2016. Then again, have you been living under a rock lately? It's been explained by professionals.

Pedvetkin failed two different tests for two different substances, and was more muscular with a squarer face and head head at 35, than he was in the olympics.

So what? He paid his fine and did his time. Why you defending Clenelo then?

VADA cleared Povetkin for the Wilder fight, but Haymon ordered the WBC to not allow Povetkin to knock Wilder out. Wilder was very afraid.....................El Pollo failed two tests! El Pollo and Oscar wanted the fight cancelled anyway, they want Golovkin to get older......................this is a gift to El Pollo.............

Golovkin will fight O'Sullivan or Andrade next, then Saunders if Saunders will fight him. Unless El Pollo can fight in September as Saunders claims he has an injury..............

I am not defending anyone. And I never defended Canelo. Oscar gives me the creeps since he retired, quite honestly. I am simply wondering why Deontay did not get the same respect GGG did (although I realize it's a rhetorical question).

That's an excellent question. No quarters given to Wilder for not fighting a 2x test failure named Alexander Povetkin, but Golovkin is told to do everything but fight Canelo.
People even suggested that he sue GBP. When Wilder was gonna sue Povetkin he was treated like a coward.

So why did Canelo withdraw? Because he can't cheat now?

My guess is its because even if he KO GGG he wouldn't get any credit. Best move he could make at the moment.

Either way it seems like he will be suspended for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12.
