Nice choice of Vegas for the big fight.

Though I'm kinda disappointed coz I've been imagining Pac beating Hatton in Wembley Stadium and then doing the Rocky IV speech. LOL

Uk would have been cool, but not really too bothered where it is. Hatton would only be accused of home cooking had he won in England anyway.

This should be a fantastic fight . Both fearless, come forward fighters, my kind of scrap.
should have been in England though .

Are you sure that it is 4 linear titles?

Whether it is 3 or 4 it is still a great feat, but one that could only be achieved in the modern era post 1975ish given the increase in the number of weight divisions.

Fans are f*cked up. Fight for the elite, 15.000 expensive tickets, hotel rooms, flights. Bob Arum can do me a favor.

This fight clearly belongs to a 70.000+ stadium, no matter if it's in The Philippines, the UK or the USA. Going to Las Vegas is a criminal act to a fight like this, which is clearly for the masses.

I'm very disappointed. Makes no sense at all. Is boxing really an elitist sport? Extremely costly tickets with in a pack or expensive PPV - make your choice. Wonder why boxing losing popularity?

****in amen brother. Hatton is my hero, but he has let me down here. I will never get to see him fight.

A trilogy is needed. Wembley 2nd leg, thrilla in manila revisted for the 3rd installment, both retire legends.

Elitist exactly, many boxing fans are completely outpriced.I've mentioned about travelling to watch it but for the two of us it would be thousands, money better spent on the family. So i'll watch it on tv on a sunday morning as usual....

And it's Pacquiao's fault that it's 2009 right now and that there are far more weight divisions now as compared to before. Is that it? Just as the Boston Red Sox would not have broken their long dry spell for a World Series Championship in 2004 if it weren't for the implementation of the wild card playoff spot in baseball in 1995. Is that it? Just as France would not have won the 2004 UEFA European Football Championship if the "Golden Goal" rule was not in effect at that time. Is that it? Just as USA would not have won the 2008 Olympic Basketball Gold Medal if it weren't for FIFA's 1989 decision to allow professional players to participate in the Olympics. Is that it?

Golly... the way you try to downplay a possible feat... shame on you!!!:nono:nono:nono

the promotors (schafer, arum, all of goldenboy etc) really **** me off. it's only the best location to make the most money, not the best location for the fans. it costs an absolute fortune in vegas, the average boxing fan wont get to attend this fight. if it was in the uk/phillipines infront of 70.000 fans (real boxing fans) it would be more affordable and one of the great sporting occasions in recent history. it's **** how all the biggest fights end up in vegas in a country where the 2 fighters more often than not dont even come from there.
