No it wasn't by any means the best version of Wlad but still he's by far and away the best name and he'd still beat 99% of fighters out there and even now go undefeated through Wilder's resume.

So Wilder suddenly finds a pair of cojones when $10-15m is dangled in front of him. He will not want to fight Breazeale beforehand, I see Stiverne III or some other can.

He wants to fight Joshua. It's the biggest fight that can be made at heavyweight right now.

Why do you guys want him to fight EVERYONE but Joshua?

Don't you like boxing? Are you a fan of the sport at all?

In truth, if they announce any fight other than Wilder-Joshua, isn't that going to be a letdown?

I can't recall a time in my life when SO MANY BOXING FANS ARGUED AGAINST making the best heavyweight fight that could be made.

    Unbelievable.

They aren't brothers like the Klitschkos. They won't upset their moms if they fight each other.

    Make the GODDAMN fight!!!

Lol...Sheesh. Americans aren’t the smartest nation in the world, but we are far from the bottom of that list. We have some “special needs” citizens just like any other country but we couldn’t be holding the down the position we are in if the US was a bunch of “dumb little girls”. Lol. The perception of Americans from a global perspective has a lot to do with our Arrogance....not to be confused with being inept or ignorant. We get a lot of hate and envy which produces a warped perspective amongst those who have these views.

Great. Then make Joshua-Wilder next as a tuneup to "MAXIMIZE" Joshua vs. whoever you think is the best opponent. Isn't that the catchword this week. "Maximize."

    I'll go with that, too.

I’m not that engaged to fact check but hopefully someone has the patience and time to check on those rankings. That blew me away seeing that for the first time. I don’t tend to believe anything I see online without references or citing a source

Any fight involving Deontay is the best HW fight. Look at how much interest he generates from you Joshua fangirls.

Joshua fury is the best heavyweight fight to be made.

Currently the best fight is Joshua vs Povetkin.

But, this is the fight I want to see next. The Wilder fans getting annoyed will be a good laugh.

Well, while Fury spends the next year getting his license back, shaking off two years of ring rust and losing 100 pounds, go ahead and fight Wilder in a tuneup.

You'll see Joshua-Hammer before Joshua-Povetkin. Haven't you figured that out already?

Another guy still feeling the buzz. It'll wear off soon enough.

He's a teenager from the UK who, by glancing at his Twitter page, has a problem with Pikeys.

But if that's who you rely on for info, more power to you.

Anything is possible. I actually don’t think Ortiz was doping in preparation for the Wilder fight. The governing bodies sanctioning that fight should have used better judgment in deciding how they handled Ortiz for hypertension meds being found in his system. Those are not performance enhancing drugs and there were other no red flags that would have indicated he was somehow masking other banned substances. I think they really dropped the ball by preventing Ortiz from facing. Deontay
