I consider that typical american hyping, usually there is also the american anthem, some kid crying and saluting the flag, explosions and those type of lines like you just said:D

With Greenburg gone... I wonder how much they paid to get Pac back?

This might be why they are saying that the Pac-Marquez contract has yet to be signed

Nice!!! HBO is far better. Showtime looks amateur in comparison, especially production wise.

Good move, although the 24/7's have been getting too fake feeling. Scripted almost. Prefer 360.

For fights of this magnitute, you just cant broadcast it anywhere other than HBO. Dont get me wrong, I like Showtime alot, but it just didnt seem right when Pac and Mosley fought. It was just missing something (Lampley, Merchant/Kellerman, Stewart). The Showtime crew just dont do it for me when it comes to big fights. When Showtime is commentating, you are actually getting expert punch by punch analysis (for the most part), which is what I really like about them. However, the HBO crew just makes you feel ike you are watching the fight with them, even if they are off the mark half the time or biased toward one fighter or another. It just makes me wanna pop up some popcorn, grab a brew, spark one up, and enjoy the fight with a high probability that Merchant is gonna tell it like it is regardless if I like it or not. I dont know, maybe its just me. I grew up watching big HBO fights so I guess im biased. Plus, I think the HBO production is much better.

No shock there. If HBO really wants a fight they'll get it, especially considering they're now desperate to get Pacquiao back.

If we are lucky, HBO will shake up 24/7 and bring us something fresh instead of that same old story line. It would be great if they threw in some investigate reporting and uncovered some truth's to bring closure to the fans.

I like Al Bernstein a lot more than Merchant or Kellerman, It would be easy to duplicate Lampley's blow by blow. "Bang! Bang! Bang!" sometimes the guy is bias and is on the wrong side of what's happening in the ring. But I do love it Harold chimes in with the Judges perspective. I do miss old George though.
