“Hindi ako papayag sa 50-50 (I won’t agree to a 50-50),” said Pacquiao last night from Gen. Santos City, saying he feels he deserves more than what is being offered to him.
Hatton, the pride of Manchester, said he will only fight Pacquiao and stake his IBO light-welterweight crown (140 lbs) on May 2 in Las Vegas if he gets 50 percent of everything.
Arum is amenable to this. Pacquiao is not.
“Hindi puwede (That can’t be),” said Pacquiao over the phone.
“I’m giving Hatton until the first week of February to agree to 60-40,” he added.
“Manny is not accepting what’s being presented on the table. He’s staying firm at 60-40. Fifty-fifty is not acceptable,” said Pacquiao’s lawyer Franklin Gacal.

    Hot off the press...

Thats highly misleading;Pac beat an over the hill emaciated Oscar who looked and fought like an Auschwitz inmate,a weight drained and pitiful specimen.
Hatton lost to the PFP 1 in his prime.
    Absurd comparison.

I do not know where people are getting this myth from, they are £20-25 here, so with the exchage rate its £40-50 US end so exactlly the same.

Greedy ******* is ruining it for everyone, his own fans included.

As much as i want to see the fight, Hatton should move on if Pac doesnt see sense.

Agian, facts people. ESB is one heated site, but most of the posts are unfounded, and informative. Hatton can get a million PPV for any decent fight. Lok at Khan? Hes not even had a world title shot and he is adored here. He is sued to bein watched by 7-10 milion people on mainstream TV! hatton did wicked numbers for the Lazcano fight, and a gate of 55K to go with it. hatton is a proven PPV attraction, thats fact, and its laughable people even begin to debate that.

    Not sure about that?

Anyway, I'll take your word for it, but regardless, Pac vs Marquez, possibly his biggest fight to date got what? 300,000 buys. Not great.

Also if anyone remembers he took all the $'s he earnt and put it in an american bank because the $ was so weak and now the £ is super weak so Hatton did some pretty good investment there.

I got 2.1 dollars to the £ when i went out to that fight it is now at like 1.4 to the £ therefore Hatton has made **** loads

You mutha ****ers calling Pac a greedy ******* are ****in ridiculous. This is what is called bargaining. Do you not bargain for your salaries when you apply for a new job? Or are you just an idiot that takes what is offered?

How can the man be greedy when he gives so much of his winnings away?

Relax and give it some time. This fight will happen. ****IN IDIOTS.

Why not something like this. They fight and the winner gets a 60-40 split. How's that for motivation to win??

the fact that he's agreed to to two deals already and now wants more makes him greedy idiot.
