He is greedy because in business terms he doesn't deserve 50% but thats Hattons camp being honourable and fair,somethiing Pacmans people are not showing right now.This is bad karma for Pac,I would feel uncomfortable if I were him and my people were trying to do this.

False. But a 60-40 split IS more than Hatton would get even in a 70-30 split fighting just about anyone else. It's not like Hatton has other options for a big fight out there.

You'd have a point if negotions regarding this fight just came about! But these negotiations have been on going and agreed to 2 times already. But yea...you should negotiate your salary for new jobs....That is a common practice...but it's also good to know your worth. Over negotiate and you loose the opportunity for a good job and in this case OVER NEGOITATION might just kill the fight and the potential for PACs and Hattons HIGHEST Earnings. There are smart ways to do business and "idiotic" ways. PAC is comming off like he's either greedy, idiotic or both.

But you have a VERY VALID Point when you say that PAC "GIVES AWAY MUCH OF HIS EARNINGS!!" That is a point that no one brought up. The man clearly is about his people and taking care of them.

This also looks like cultural differences between the camps.Pinoy Lawyer seems to think they can meet in the middle of the 2 offers while the American and UK people simply have offered from the start a fair offer.I dont think this fight will happen and its mainly because of the inferiority complex and paranoia coming from the Pac camp of being ripped off,they wont back all the way down to 50% now afraid of losing face and Hatton won't go lower than 50% because its not a logically fair offer.This will def harm pac's reputation for the future I think aswel.

yes i agree. before i thought this fight would happen and it was the two camps just posturing, but both camps have come out with statements that means they will lose face should they backdown. pacs camp have said no way will they take 50:50 and ray hatton has said that there's no way they would even take 51:49 it 50:50 or nothing. so somethings got to give but it don't look like it will unless someone doers back down and they sign the deal and keep the split confidential.
