yep. hatton is not a PPV draw in the US. his last fight w/ malignaggi wasn't even PPV in the US while pac has PPV fights even w/ opponents like diaz and solis.

Because he just beat dela hoya who used to be the face of boxing and was generating lots of revenues on PPV. The HBO people have already said that Pacquiao is the new face of boxing.

Hatton did not want to fight dela hoya when he was offered the opportunity. Now that pacquiao has knocked out dela hoya, it would be reasonable for him to ask for a higher percentage.

The status of pacquiao as the best fighter is at stake here. He might be asking for recognition. Money is not the issue as he has tons of it.

50/50 is fair. I don't see why Hatton should budge, he's the bigger draw.

for the sole reason that he was going up against the best fighter in the world. what other ppv's did he sell without pbf? so ove good selling ppv against pbf makes him a proven ppv seller? that's what proven is?

answer this. would hatton vs his next best opponent outsell pac vs jmm3 which is by far the next biggest option for pac?

Pacman probably needs to top up the coffers to keep funding all the eating and dieting contests he holds amongst his bemused (and very large waisted) entourage.

The general British sporting public are easily brain-washed into thinking what they are watching is the best available. Ricky Hatton could fight a blown-up Super-bantamweight and if the TV comentators say that it should be a close and exciting fight a million people would buy it.

Most people I know know that I'm a boxing fan and they hardly ever express an interest in it. When Hatton fought Mayweather a lot of them bought the PPV and didn't even know who Mayweather was!

It is clear now Pac does not want this fight. 50/50 is perfectly fair.

What a farce and joke this has become.

hatton was never offered delahoya, he would have snatched his hand off. this is just a lie.
