Pac needs to hold firm. Hatton is an overhyped fighter and he's lucky to be even getting this opportunity. This fight will be in Vegas. The live gate and American PPV sales is what's going to be generating the most money. Pac will be the one mostly responible for those numbers. The UK ppv numbers should be strong, but much of that would be based on the caliber of opposition that Hatton is facing. Pac's legacy is already secure. Hatton needs a win like this. Otherwise, his legacy will be that of another overrated, and overprotected fighter that lived off of one win against an aging HOFer.

Hatton could fight you and he'd still sell more PPV's over here than Manny could sell HBO PPV's.

What was Manny highest HBO PPV figure besides his fight with De La Hoya where Hoya was the draw? ;)

Hatton sold 55k tickets in one day for his fight against Lazcano, ffs. ;)

It's not about the money. It's about sending a message.

so you believe pac will be responsible for the live gate? that's bull****, and as far as ppv's in the US, he did 350k against diaz, this fight will do a lot more than that, and that's becuase he's fighting hatton and it would be a great fight. hatton v pac would generate more ppv's than any other fight barring mayweather or oscar.

Pac needs to bump his head and stop listening to his hangers and money greedy *******s. Arum approved the 50-50, heck Roach approved the 50-50....

Pacquiao should start to listen to Roach, because Roach knows well better than anyone on his team.

no. ricky will get a bigger total revenue here since he will also get a part of the more expensive US PPVs and his guaranteed purse here will also be bigger at 50-50, 55-45 or even 60-40 compared to the 30/70 he got from mayweather.

i think pac will accept a 55-45. he's just trying to prove a point here. he wants to have even just a slightly bigger share. in his view, he has definitely earned it with the status he has achieved through hard work and perserverance.

the more expensive american ppv i doubt he gives a **** about them, i reckon thsi fight would sell about 600k in the us at about 40 bucks compared to maybe 1.3 million in the uk at 25-30 dollars what is going to bring more money again.

Damn right. Hatton's American fights pre Mayweather did **** numbers at the gate. I'm not sure about the Paulie fight, I doubt those numbers were very good. Pac is without a doubt the draw in the states.
Hatton has had exactly one PPV fight in the states, and that was against Mayweather. You're completely ignorant if you don't think Mayweather was the on driving those ppv sales. Pac is a proven ppv attraction in the states. Hatton is not. No one here is paying to see Hatton fight.

Not in the U.S it wouldn't.

I have to agree. A slightest edge on the purse would get pac to agree pronto.

He just want to state that he deserves higher than hatton. Which he does btw.
