no thats utter **** you do some reaserch, why do you think pac has gone from 60-40 with hatton getting the uk tv money, to a 50-50 split down the middle to wanting a 60-40 split, it's because hatton will generate a silly amount of revenue from the uk ppv's. Pacman has never had any ppv's close to hatton vs mayweather and never will as he isn't as big a draw as hatton. He might be a bigger draw in the usa but unlucky for him the usa has shitty fans who don't buy many ppv for the size of the country.

 

In fairness Hatton has no big fights on the horizon, Pacquaio has his choice from Marquez, Margarito, Campbell, any 140/147lb belt holder and maybe Mayweather.

US PPVs for these superfights cost US$ 50 while in the UK, this will cost about US$ 25. this means that mayweather earned more with the 850k US PPV buys compared to hatton with the 1.25M UK PPVs. there is simply more money in US PPVs due to them being twice more expensive and that's why the fight will be in the US and not in the UK.

 

They buy enough to generate more revenue than in the U.K, simple math will tell you that much. U.K sales have to pretty much double U.S ppv sales just to break even.

 

Perhaps if he sacked some of his lawyers and just had one (like Hatton does) he may be able to afford a 50-50 split.

 

in fairness hatton cn fight any 140 belt holder, marquez or cotto from 147 and maybe a rematch with mayweather. None of the fights pacman can do will generate the same revenue, hatton could make almost the same money or maybe more from some of the othe rfights.
