You're crazy if you really believe that. Hatton is not pulling in half of the ppv revenue.

they don't though thats the whole point more money was made from the uk ppv sale of hatton vs mayweather than was made from the us ones.

the collazo fight sold out. i'm guessing the castillo fight sold out. the pbf fight sold out in 30 minutes (other than the oscar fight i bet that's never happened so quickly). the maussa fight was sold out. i don't about the urango fight and the paulie fight was in the middle of a recession.

so please reg, if you're going to correct people about stuff, please at least know what you're talking about first.

IMO american`s and phillipino`s on these threads are greatly overestimating the PPV hatton v paq will do in america.

last year the second biggest ppv was jones v trinidad at 500k and it rapidly fell off from there.

that fight was overwhlmingly bought by P/Rican`s as could be seen by jones v calzaghe doing 220k

with the way american ppv is going and the current climate in may i think 500k would be doing well for a paq v hatton fight.

paq fighting on ppv all the time as posters keep on pointing out ,forget to say it cuts down a lot on his possible fanbase and exposure to anything but hardcore boxing fans.

possibly 1 to 2 million in america would be my guess is the total american hardcore boxing fans including paq fans, and if you say 1 out of every 4 buy this fight it gives 500k

IMO the 800 to 1 million mark which a lot of people seem to be basing the assements of the american ppv revenue on , i do not think the fight will get anywhere near to.

You better believe if the Pac fight falls apart, Marquez will be fighting Pac not Hatton. Hatton won't fight any of the other beltholders. So that leaves Cotto and Mayweather. Cotto would ruin Hatton and we already saw what Mayweather would do to him. So I would to see him hold his ground here and fight one of those two guys. It will be a hard lesson learned for Hatton.

it's not a case of hatton beating them you seriosuly don't understand how much money hatton generates, any of those fighters would jump at the chance to fight hatton even if just for a share of the cash.

yeah but mayweather wouldn't have sold 1.25m ppbvs in the us by fighting a nobody would he? he sold that many because he was fighting hatton.

Neither one of those fights sold out.

Being that none of his other US fights sold out, it's safe to assume Mayweather was responsible for that fight selling out so quick

The Maussa fight was in the U.K. The Urango fight didn't sell out, and the Paulie fight probably didn't either.

How ironic. You're the one who though the Castillo and Collazo fights were sold out. And you're the one who thought the Maussa fight was in the U.S.:patsch Take some of your own advice.

    Hmmm let's try to summarize:

    Side A (Hatton's side)
    1. Pac - Hatton 50/50
    2. Hatton gets all UK PPV(costing millions)
    3. Pac - Hatton shares US PPV/Livegate

    Side B (Pacquiao's side)
    1. Pac - Hatton 60/40
    2. Hatton gets all UK PPV(costing millions)
    3. Pac - Hatton shares US PPV/Livegate

Am I missing anything? On contrary though, It's not Pac whose getting more money on any side... It's Hatton....
I may have been agreeing on 50/50 purse, but kinda thinking of something missing on that point.

I repeat, Hatton will not fight any of the other belt holders. So it doesn't matter what they want. Marquez wants to fight Pac badly. He would take that fight over Hatton easily. Their last fight did huge numbers in the U.S.

it was the pac-dlh fight that sold out in 30 min. not the hatton-pbf fight. and if ricky can really sell out US arenas, then what happened in the malignaggi fight? there were a lot of empty seats during the fight and ticket sales were very slow.

on the other hand, pac sells out arenas even with opponents like diaz and solis. these two fights even being PPVs while hatton-malignaggi, the two best fighters in 140 wasn't even PPV in the US.

safe to assume thats utter **** the combo of mayweather and hatton sold the fight out that quickly otherwise why would mayweather have such **** ppv number in his fights other than the odlh.
