The agreement was for the UK ppv money to go in the pot.

i've not looked hard but here's an article "Despite Hatton losing to Mayweather — a reported £20 million softened the blow"

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/more_sport/boxing/article5361525.ece

that's from the times, a paper owned by the same man who owns sky who did the PPV in the UK, rupert murdoch.

    at the time £20m = $40m

now please stop making yourself look sstupid.

no it ddidn't do huge numbers, your huge number is like 500-600k, any fight with hatton in is getting a million ppv buys from the uk alone

hatton agreed to 60/40 with himgetting the uk ppv money, pac then figured out he would be earning far less than hatton so moved for a 50/50 split hatton agreed to this even though it means he would be earning less. Now pac has come back saying he wants a 60/40 split of everything thats why ahtton isn't happy.

"a reported 40m" means that it was a number thrown out by someone in the Hatton camp without anything to back it up. Don't believe everything you read. Over here Mayweather made "a reported 20 million" to fight the Big Show. Do you believe that as well?

So even if its a 60/40 split. Hatton has the UK PPV alone by himself, which we all know his fans is willing to buy to watch him anyway.

Then Pacquiao and Hatton will also share the US PPV purse right?

    SO that means....

Hatton is getting more money? and I've been calling Pacquiao greedy just to add 10% purse which won't even do anything compare to Hatton's predicted purse?

That's why the prefaced it by saying it was "a reported 40m". They know what they're doing. Plenty of respected publications here stated that Mayweather made a reported 20m to fight the Big Show.

From what I read, the record for ppv sales in the U.K before Hatton/Mayweather was something like 700k. This means that the Hatton/Mayweather fight was the only one to crack 1m. So I doubt any fight with Hatton does 1m. Furthermore, U.S ppvs are twice as expensive as U.K ppvs. This means U.K ppvs need to do twice the sales.:deal

No, it shows Hatton is not a draw in the states.
