I was just thinking about the timing as a fan, lotsa good action coming up. If the fight happened at Sept, or even May, damn it'd be too long. March though is just around the corner. Perfect for fans, though I just hope Pac has had enough time to prep. With this being the show, its only fair that both fighters have a fair shot at being at their peak.

I'll still insist March is TOO early, why not May?

Pac just finished a major fight. Of course he and his team know best, this is going to be HUGE.

Him and his team asked for March!

Manny is ducking. He knows damn well that the next logical opponent for Mayweather is the winner of Berto/Mosely. How can he gum it up? He makes his fight so late in the year that Mayweather and the winner of Berto/Mosely is looking at way too much off time. He makes the schedules collide!

So what can everyone do? Mayweather is supposed to sit for 18 months until Manny is ready? Hell no. There is nobody for the winner of Berto/Mosely to fight. Manny already turned down Mosely.

Manny is hoping that the winner of Berto/Mosely can beat or damage FMJ so he won't have to fight until like 2011. Praying that Father Time catches FMJ.

    Cherry picker!

Words coming from Manila indicate that pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao has finally met with his promoter Bob Arum at the New World Renaissance Hotel in Makati more than an hour ago (13:00 Manila time).

Pac and Roach want a fight with Void very badly, but they will not allow themselves to be robbed. Roach tried to get Void to fight Pac right after the Hatton fight, but Void refused. So, Pac fought another fighter that Void refused to fight, Cotto! Void also refused to fight Margarito and Mosely.

With a March date, Pac can concentrate on training. The problem with May is that the campaign period runs from March 25 to May 10, and given that he's running against an old established Political family for Congress, I have a feeling he'd prefer to concentrate on the campaign. If he trains during that period, you can be sure his camp won't be 100%. Plus, there's a possibility the fight won't be aired in the Philippines if it happens before the actual election since some election laws might forbid it.

But March does seem too soon considering that Pac was pretty busted up as well against Cotto. That's why I thought they would push for a fight after the elections, something like August or Sept.

Complete nonsense man and how can ANY sane human being even use "cherry picking" in the same sentence as Pac, the man is all about making history. Even if this fight didn't go as planned their second option was none other than undefeated and WBO champion Foreman in yet another weight division to continue making history. If Pac can manage a fight like that why can't Mayweather?, M.Hatton is a joke of a fight if it ever happens.
