    Shaw's a germ but also knows the risk involved here. Not re-matching Phillips could have been a masterstoke in Tszyu's career. The difference is Vic's done well enough now to have that career defining fight that cements his legacy that maybe Kostya never had. Huge risk Huge reward.

    Gary Shaw has actually stated he is now open to talking with Bob Arum on putting together a rematch against Donaire - I recall him saying it during the post fight against his last Mexican opponent.

    Im glad to hear this about Gary Shaw lads Darchinyan is a brilliant fighter when he remains focused lets hope he does get that career defining fight in 2010 , now this man is defo PPV worthy .

    Everyone knows Shaw's sourgrape episode when Donaire jumped ship. By stopping a fight like Vic/Donaire due to some grudge at the expense of boxing and boxing fans alike reeks of arrogance.

    Thankfully it seems his tune is changing.

    Providing that Vic will use "ze boxing' and "ze jabbing".....if he tries to go for "ze killings" and "ze destroying" Donaire will stop him again.....hes a very good counter puncher and when Vic loads up or overextends he gets caught bad.

    Tend to agree.....however I just want Vic to have the right game plan going in to the fight....if he was going in to slug it out I would rather he fight another fighter.....lots of fights for Vic that he can win that have good names....he wont need another stoppage loss
