MMA doesn't really sell much on PPV's they just manage to keep their cards consistant ... the most they did was 1m buys and that number has been surpassed plenty of times in boxing.

You might be correct by saying that no boxing match will top that this year but with some added players on the rise in boxing and PBF's return will help alot in future cards.

PBF vs Cotto, Mosley, Pac, and Williams will do 600k plus buys minimum given proper promotion and marketing.

Cotto vs Margarito II and Mosley II and Pacquiao will sell huge
Pac vs Marquez III will be huge

The match making is also key ... and marketing - marketable fighters ... preping them for PPV.

As of now in the state of boxing there are only a handful legit PPV fighters.

They need to sell this fight on a bargain. It cheapens the fight actually.

You realize that last years top 10 PPV buys was dominated by MMA right?

Floyd hasn't proven to be a draw outside of against boxings two ATM machines (Oscar and Hatton) and his fight with JMM is struggling to sell at any sort of rate, This isn't even debatable.

That's IF those fights take place.

One o the advantages the UFC has is that they can make those fights happen because they've collected fighters under their banner. Until there is one MAJOR company holding all the cards in boxing, Chances are you'll continue to run into these sort of problems.

They should provide us free coffee instead to keep us awake all night from this boring fight.

I actually don't think it'll be that boring.

Is this being advertised? I mean how well are they promoting this?

Tecate is a very good beer. Significantly better than anything anueser-busch or miller can offer.
It's also better than carta blanca, sol, or pacifico, and is much better than corona.
But that's just my opinion; I'm only one man.
