Another good fight to add to the schedule. Prograis needs to turn up unlike his last fight or he will get embarrassed. At his best he might pull of an upset stoppage.

Is Haney vacating? Cause this fight will likely be at 140... unless he's draining Prograis to 135.

Haney got it a gift against a smaller fighter and Prograis looked poor in his last fight.

    At 140, it's a 50-50 fight. If Prograis drains to 135, I don't like Prograis' chances.

Haney’s dad said he is vacating and moving up to 140. This fight and Lopez are there for him.

He clearly can’t make 135 anymore. Now he is moving up to 140 to fight the #1 in the division in his first fight at that weight.

I don’t get the hate for Haney. Sure he got a bit lucky against Lomachenko, but he is taking the big fights and not hiding behind his promoter like most other fighters. Haney could have stayed signed to Matchroom and said the big fights couldn’t be made, but instead he signed a 3 fight deal with Top Rank to fight George Kambosos twice in his back yard in Australia, and then fought Lomachenko.

Even when moving up to 140, he could have signed a 2 fight deal with Matchroom, taking a warm-up fight first and then fighting Prograis. But instead he’ll fight Prograis as part of a 1-fight contract with Matchroom, and then make a deal with another promoter to unify.

The sleazeball is now ducking Loma just as Teo did and as Salido did, all three lucky to have gotten the call over him and they knew it. What a coward.

I don’t blame him for moving up, but the pressures of a Loma rematch or a Stevenson matchup are good reasons to leave the division.

I wanted haney-shakur but he was going to move up so this is actually a good fight. Can't wait to see it.

Should be easy win for Haney. Prograis looked pedestrian in his last bout.

I thought papa Bill said Haney was going to 140 shortly after the Loma fight.

Gotta give it to Haney. He’s doing what he’s supposed to. He was trapped either way at 135 or 40. People say Pro didn’t look good in his last fight but that doesn’t always translate to the next fight. Erik Morales lost to Barrera in their third fight and faced Manny next. Most thought he was food for Manny. Instead he turned in one of the greatest performances of his career. I expect a highly motivated Prograis to bring it. I’m sure he knows this could be his last chance to make a statement.

It's a great fight and pretty much only sad Loma fans who will say he's ducking. Truth is that Haney is in much more danger against Prograis at 140 than he would be vs Loma at 135. At a certain point Haney's lack of power is going to cost him.

Aww, Poor Lomas dream of becoming undisputed dies with weight drained Haney leaving the division. No way he beats Shakur
