I also think that was possibly the last we seen of that Loma. He put it all on the line that night. He’s 35. It won’t get better from here on out. But I could be wrong.

Pretty disappointing honestly. Shakur and Loma rematch is what the fans want and it does seem like Haney isn’t wanting to risk losing to either of them. Saying that though Prograis isn’t a bad fight and certainly a good test for Haney at 140.

Programs is not #1 at 140.
    But great fight, though.

Good fight, but I'm dissapointed at there being no Shakur match. I can do without a Loma rematch, as in this 1 -2 fights a year era I'll always prefer a good new matchup to constant rematches (Haney already had a pointless rematch against Kambosos).

Atleast now we're almost definitely going to see a Loma V Shakur fight, whether it be next or a little later after they've both won titles.

This Prograis fight, If Haney were to win, would also be a good setup for Haney V Teo. Both beat Loma, moved up and beat the two best guys at 140 in Taylor and Prograis.

After taking the titles off of Kamboses he has defended and Lomachenko then jumped up to face Prograis. This guy is 4 years younger than Davis.

They saw Prograis couldn't close the distance to save his life in his last fight and said, ooh I want him.
    Good fight none the less.

This is a good fight, why would anybody complain about it?

My god how can you be mad at this fight he's taking on arguably the 2nd best light welterweight in the world Loma had his chance and again he froze just like against Te'o take his balls out ya mouth and show respect to a fighter who in this day and age of actual duckers he's trying to challenge himself

I would of liked to see him rematch Loma as I thought he lost that fight, but I understand the desire to pick up an easy title at 140 vs the overrated Pograis. Haney should be able to box his way to a convincing UD.

Duck Loma and he had the audacity to ask WBC to keep his belt at LW. What a joke.

Haney licking his chops after seeing Regis have an off fight. Might backfire though. Should be a good fight.

Lol GTFO idiot, it’s clear as day to anyone who isn’t a moron that Loma beat his ass. No excuses for not giving Loma an immediate rematch.

Wow that is awesome! I am a big fan of Prograis but I will also cheer for fellow Las Vegas resident Haney. =D

140 is a much weaker division, Teo proved that when he moved up to beat Taylor. No doubt Haney will move up and have similar success, Prograis has speed and power but his skills are nothing special, I'm sure Haney will handle him without too much difficulty.
