Rigondaux is a very good amatuer, but I can't see him ad******g well to the pros because of his age. His age worked for him in the amatuers because he's mostly fighting guys much younger and inexperience than him.

I thought he will be the new kid in the HW division. Anyway, hope he does well. Time is running out on him. Let him have fights every 2 months to pad his record then go for the title next year.

He was killing himself to make the bantamweight limit, just like Gamboa was killing himself to make the flyweight limit as an amateur.

If the rumor is true about Rigondeaux defecting, then I would assume that he's going to be a lightweight.

NO WAY!!!! Thought he got caught, if he has broken free that is amazing news.

The only Cuban amateur better than Gamboa!

He's a little late to the game though; but if he is blowing up the competition, he should move fast.

    WHAT?

Tell me you're not full of ****, because I'll kick your ass!!!

If it's true, and in the following weeks he manages to get a VISA without getting arrested and brought back, we're in for a decade to remember.

And the Oscar goes to... Guillermo Rigondeaux

Oh ****... is this old news?

"After several weeks of constant rumors that ensured his departure from Cuba and his subsequent placement in Mexico, Rigondeaux came in the final hours to Miami and met with his former fellow team Yuriorkis Gamboa, Odlanier Solis and Erislandy Lara."

I had no idea. What planet I was living on?
