FFS, Manny wasn't going to fight Sergio at 154 anyways and at least Sergio isn't damaged goods or seemingly past his prime. If Sergio gets his ass beat, so be it! We still don't know for sure how he will perform at that weight hes always in shape maybe he'll do great maybe not. Most important thing is the fight gets made. The cards are in Mannys favor beating Sergio would boost his legacy. I never stopped being a fan of Mannys, but his last 3,4 fights all pretty predictable. Sergio won't be.

If Martinez can make 150 I don't see why PAC shouldn't take the fight. Well there's probably no reason anyway because if Pac win all the heaters are going to say that Martinez was weight drained.

will you accept the fight as legit if it were at 147?
    :good

catchweights aren't the problem its making fights that should never be even talked about getting made

Pac should just ignore him. Sergio isnt gonna be 100 percent if he goes down to 150, and should pac win, hell just be ridiculed and labeled as a drainer or catchweight king.
Sergio, stick to fighting somebody your own size. How bout Abraham or Bute? you can beat em all, stop thinking bout pac, or even floyd

No one wants to see this at 150. 154 or go home. If he takes this fight there'll be little props to be given. Its like SRL fighting Lalonde at 167 for the LHW title..... :-(

 No. No. And no. Yes, we knew there was the size difference, but you have no idea how many Mexicans actually laughed out loud when I told them Margarito was facing Pacman. Even the old school guys just shook their heads in disbelief. Slow poke Margarito is all they'd say. I know their are the faithful Mexican's that will follow that dude, I'm not and never will. Not one of them. Even if he would of beat Pacman I still wouldn't support the guy. Might be a nice guy outside the ring, maybe he was innocent or not, just don't like his style. Regardless, dehydrated or not, Sergio should be a worthy opponent for Pacman. And it's definitely NOT the same ol same ol when Sergio hasn't been ko'd in close to a decade. About as relavent as Pacman getting ko'd. Sergio accepts their terms, let's get it on!
