Bika has only gone 5 rounds during the last 2 years+. And against pretty weak opponents. That might be a problem, when he has to step it up.

bute doesn't have an oponent yet... so... he could come in but it's only a slim chance... if the boys from Interbox decide to take showtime's money instead going for HBO money and oponents like pavlik or hopkins.

You would think Bute would want to get in. I mean he was the one complaining he wasn't invited and the tournament winner isn't the lineal champ until they get through him. Add another belt to the tourny, it'd be even better!

It was daft for him to enter in the first place knowing that one defeat would see him withdrawing.

Showtime has said before they don't think they have the money to add Bute. Also, if Bute joined, the IBF would probably just strip him anyway.

Probably the best thing for Taylor right now.

I don't think he knew that at the time. Heck, he didn't know that after he lost to Abraham. Best I can tell, it took a lot of convincing from friends and family to get him to pull out. And had he not been brutally knocked out, I'm sure he'd still be in it.

If the winner of Bika-Green replaces Taylor, do you think the April the 17th date still stands? It would give less than 2 months and a half between the two bouts.

Definately. THe winner will just be the huge underdog. However i would love to see Froch-Bika. I think thats the only one Bika has a chance at beating.

I just dont see why Green gets so much recognition. Everytime i watch him i keep waiting for him to do something and all i see is him staring at his feet...

 I see a dirty fair fight. Maybe Compubox should add some new stats. Number of headbutts, elbows, etc, for this bout.

That's great news. He should pull out of the tourney and retire from boxing. I'm glad he's finally coming to his senses.

Allan Green should be in this tourney instead of Bika

They will fight February the 5th to get the replacement spot. We're talking of Bika-Ward but we're only speculating.
