If BoxingDomain says it's on, then it's on. Will be looking forward to seeing two of my favourite fighters in the ring. Great match-making. Despite his rather poor efford against Wlad, Haye is obviously head and shoulders above anyone in the division not named Klitschko. Perfectly legit fight.

Props to Haye for taking this fight because he probably didn't get nowhere the terms he wanted since he had nothing to bargain with.

We'll all have to hope that

a) this will be an amazing fight (which I doubt as Haye will run and Vitali is too old to run after him)
b) Haye has to win this somehow so we can get a unification fight vs. Wlad so Wlad can become unified champ. How else is Wlad going to get the WBC belt.

That scenario wont make Wlad the unified champ. Hayemaker would take his belts too.
He would knock Wlad out in the rematch. He figured Wlad out in later part of fight, but it was too late in scorecards. In a rematch it would be a different story

Haye doesn't deserve another Klitschko pay-day, says legendary trainer Steward

To name but one, American master trainer Emanuel Steward would prefer it if David Haye is denied the chance to make a second financial killing against another Klitschko.
As the latest speculation swirls around Britains fallen WBA heavyweight champion getting up off his knees, where he spent much of his crushing points defeat by big Wladimir, and out of retirement, where he has spent less than six weeks, to fight even bigger Vitali, this is Stewards reaction:
'Oh, no. I hope this doesnt happen. David doesn't deserve it. His performance against Wladimir was terrible, appalling.'

Steward should know. As trainer of the younger of the world champion Klitschko brothers, he was closer than anyone except the referee to
Haye's toe-curling effort against Wladimir in Hamburg this July.
He adds: 'Sadly, I keep hearing this fight might well go ahead because Vitali really wants to finish the job Wladimir started on Haye by knocking him out. Although from Davids view-point you have to suppose he would only be doing it for the money.'

Which begs the question of exactly how much money the former pride of south-east London might make.
Hayes relentless threats and tirades against the Klitschkos finally drove a 50-50 bargain reportedly worth about £8million each for him and Wladimir.
Much of that revenue came from pay-per-view sales on Sky television here in Britain. However, after his timidity against Klitschko Jnr which followed the Audley Harrison fiasco, there is no certainty that Sky would risk further alienating their customers by putting Haye on pay-TV again... or that there would be anything like as many buyers.
Nor can he expect the Klitschko management usually tough negotiators to offer such generous terms again.
Haye has always maintained he would not fight either of the Klitschkos for comparative peanuts but now he has no alpha-belt to slap on the table as a hard bargaining chip.

Even so, Team Klitschko have discussed provisional dates in March at the Esprit Arena, a 55,000 capacity football stadium in Dusseldorf.
And the irony is that if this fight does come off, Steward suspects Haye may have more chance against Vitali than he did against Wladimir.
The founder and owner of the fabled Kronk gym in Detroit, where he produces world champion after world champion, says: 'Vitali is bigger and hits hard but he comes straight in and doesnt have the same balance and elusive movement as Wladimir.

'So David might give him a little more trouble. But that supposes he would come to fight this time, which on his performance against Wladimir is not certain.'
Not given the ferocious demeanour and hitting power of Vitali, whose possession of the WBC championship, along with his brothers hold on the IBF, WBO, IBO and now WBA belts, gives the Germany-based Ukrainians their family monopoly of the world heavyweight titles.
Wladimir defends his belts on December 10, also in Dusseldorf, against Jean Marc Mormeck, who Haye knocked out in a unification fight for the world cruiserweight title.
As for Vitali, whose political career in the Ukraine is occupying more and more of his time, the Klitschkos' promoter Bernd Boente, says: 'Haye is one option for his next fight.'
Another is Nikolai Valuev, the 7ft 3in Russian behemoth from whom Haye danced away with the WBA world title.
Whether Haye gets another shot, against Vitali, depends largely on how many fans in Britain would want to watch him go through his hit-and-run motions again.

If vitali dominates haye in a way wlad couldn't do, on the back of his dominance over adamek, whilst little brother is beating up on a shot ex cruiserweight who's currently unranked, we could see a big swing in opinion as to who the better brother is.

In my opinion you're a bit overestimating current value of Haye's head.

Win over a guy who lost 9 of 12 rounds [and 9 of 10 fans] in his last fight isn't earthshaking.

Wlad doesn't need the WBC belt, when Vitali retires and vacates it, Wlad will be undisputed.

Haye will put Quitali on his ass just like Adamek did. Only this time Quitali wont get up.
Theres no way that Quitali wanted to take this fight, WBC musta been crying at him to fight someone with a pulse or lose your belt.
